My sister and I stayed at the holiday inn express so we could go to the Paragon casino. The hotel staff was very nice and the beds were clean and comfortable. The room was much nicer than I expected. This hotel made my trip relaxing and worth the drive over to Alexandria!
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean, but it wasn't anything special. I also had limited hot water the 2nd day of my stay.

I always stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Alexandria because the location is excellent, the staff are extremely friendly, great breakfasts and very nice rooms. My only complaint was the housekeeping - the maid forgot to replenish soaps/coffee or didn't finish making up the bed. Maids need to be supervised. Other than that, it is excellent.

The staff made check-in very easy and were very nice. My room was clean and comfortable. I absolutely love the bath supplies -- shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap -- all smell like cinnamon. The breakfast was nice to wake up to since I was there on business. NOTHING I can complain about.
