The maid service and breakfast were top notch and very enjoyable. Security was well maintained and the park lot was kept under good surveillance. The hotel needs a new face lift due to the heavy usage.

Stayed Wed Feb 14, 2018 as a 10K point reward night. This is a downtown six story hotel. We found it a bit challenging to navigate to the hotel although external signage is good. There is plenty of free parking in a well lit lot with security cameras. We felt safe. Our check in had a little glitch. Told I would not get Welcome Points since it was a reward night. Spoke with manager and eventually sent email to hotel manager, who authorized the Welcome points - but the damage reflected in my rating was done. Lobby is large and clean with nice flooring and seating area. Two clean, fast and quiet elevators near the front desk take you upstairs. Hallways were wide, well lit, clean and attractive. A proximity badge readers provided access to our very large 2Q room with newer clean carpet and expected amenities including a mini fridge (rare in a Holiday Inn). The TV was larger than average with a good remote and plenty of channels. Wifi was free, easy to access and stable. Outlets were available between the beds. Beds were as comfortable as any we've slept on. Sheets were clean and there were 4 pillows. HVAC was digital control, wall mounted, quiet and operated well. Sink was outside the smallish bathroom. Everything in the bathroom worked as designed. Room was quiet. Everything appeared to be well maintained. Breakfast not included but is available in hotel restaurant for a fee.

This hotel is convenient and takes wonderful care of patrons. From fresh baked cookies and coffee available all of the time, to large, clean rooms there are many things to appreciate. Breakfast is the typical found in most hotels that offer inclusive meals, but this hotel also offers an evening social with light fare and drinks. Worth giving it a chance to impress you.

A quick and unexpected trip brought me to Alexandria. Didn't have much time to select a hotel and picked the Holiday Inn. I arrived around noon, so well before normal check in time. The lady at the front desk didn't see my room as available yet, but offered me either a different room or a short wait. She got with housekeeping and I think it was actually less than 10 minutes and my room was ready to go. Clean, spacious, perfect for my short stay.

Typical Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast was adequate. The only complaint was it took forever to get hot water and the hot water pressure in the shower was weak.

I tend to stay at Holiday inns, when traveling for business. Had some colleagues staying here, so I joined them. The room was ok, bed was good , bathroom clean. WiFi never did work. I connected to the hotel WiFi next door with my IHG rewards membership.

Hotel has good size rooms with free wifi and good TV and shower. Hotel also has small pool and fitness centre. Breakfast service was prompt and friendly. Limited local dining options, but Alexandria is not realy a tourist town.

It was so nice! The TV was 40" and the workout facility was fantastic! Also was impressed with the breakfast options. Hot and ready! Awesome for a couple of nights while I was in town for work! Very impressed!

me along with my softball team stayed at this hotel for a week during the softball world series and it was a pleasure staying here. The hotel is in great proximity to everywhere we needed to get to. I really enjoyed the hospitality the staff showed myself and team. They always had a smile on their face, greeted us and kept up with our progress throughout the tournament. The manager even came to support us on championship night. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area

The hotel is newer, it is clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Also, the rates were very competitive. If you're in Alexandria to play at the sports complex, it is about a 5 minute ride to the park. They were very accommodating to our team.
