Perfect getaway for family and dog

We have an energetic 1 year old German Shorthaired Pointer that came with us. Between swimming in the lake and running through the 40 acres of field behind the property he was happily exhausted. The lake was perfect for kayaking and swimming. We thoroughly enjoyed how peaceful it was and couldn't get over how little boat traffic was on the lake. Our cottage was clean and comfortable. It had everything that we needed. Thank you Dave

Beautiful place

Place was very clean, owner fast to respond to emails. Sunrises, sunsets the best! Kids loved the canoe, and dog swam in the lake. Would definitely go back!

Clean & comfortable lake escape

It's a lovely property with amazing sunset views on the lake. Very dog-friendly (dogs must be leashed outside at all times), and close to lots of fun things to do in the Champlain Islands.

Staying at this property was a welcome escape from the every day world. David was a fast and courteous communicator, both kind and informative, which is just want you want. I honestly hope to head back soon!

Pretty and Peaceful

The accommodations were even better than expected! The open floor plan and two bedrooms gave everyone a chance for their own space and family time. The view of the Lake with the sweet Adirondack chairs throughout the property was picture perfect. Our pups enjoyed the area too with quiet walks around the property and the beach space by the dock where they could sniff and play! We had two 18 year olds with us who put away their phones to skip rocks and laugh, a true success and testament of this great property!

Highly recommend

Great place to stay! Very clean and the ower is super nice and helpful. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. Highly recommend and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here agin next time I'm on the Island.

Just perfect

Gorgeous spot, extremely clean cabin and wonderfully remote. A perfect relaxing getaway. Owners were lovely and accessible if needed but were not in our business or anything. Trail behind the house through a gorgeous field perfect for daily dog walks. Not a ton to do on the island but that was just fine with us. Lovely clean beach right next to us, cute towns and Burlington just a short drive away, and we even got in a wonderful horseback trail ride nearby. Definitely recommend and my little 10 year old already asked if we can go again next summer. Can’t get a better endorsement than that!

Quick Family Trip

We had a great time at the Isle View Cottages. The Cottage was very clean and David (the host) was easy to communicate with. The cottage boasts beautiful views of the lake and is in a very quiet area close to the nearby State park that has great beach, which our daughter loved. Hope to come again!

A great vacation
