...no bed bugs, no frills, quiet cause the town's quiet. enjoyed my stay here and if i ever get back that way the only thing that would keep me from a repeat is all the nice people i met in town who opened their homes to me.
I stop here every time I'm in the area and have for years. The family running it are like my own. Clean rooms fair prices. I have gotten to know Johnny and Misty pretty well. They are great people and treat the customers great. I suggest you stop in if you're in the area. I will be back. Thank you guys for the job you do
Was passing through on a motorcycle trip stopped in to spend the night met the owners of this hotel they were like family we had never met we pass back through two days later stops again to find the same service rooms for clean staff was extra friendly in fact we're planning a trip in 4 more weeks and going to stay again we have made this our regular spot anytime we come through Kentucky we will definitely stay here as long as it's within 50 miles of where we're headed stop in and check it out for yourself sometime
I have stayed here before, and after my recent costumer service experience, I will be here again! I had issues with a third party online service and I could have paid for 2 rooms for one night (I only needed 1 room/1 night). Royal inn did the right thing and only charged me one! They did not have to, the mistake was not theirs, but I would've had to pay and fought the third party for my refund (huge hassle!). Because of their decency with my situation, they will be part of my annual return! Thank you!
Got laid over in Albany ky due to change of plans so we stayed at the royal inn an to be honest I hated to leave we had more fun and a better time there then we did where we were going. Any time were back down that way will defiantly stay there again.service was great the owners were very helpful . thanks guys had best time.
Stayed here for a total of 3 nights and I would recommend to anyone. Very affordable, spotlessly clean, decent flat screen tv, no bugs, and the owners are really nice and would help you any way they can. I've stayed in plenty of motels and Inns and honestly this is probably the cleanest I've stayed in. A++

My family has been coming here for years because of a family reunion. Cousins, aunts, uncles all with their own families. Ten years we were loyal, and without problems. This time, however, on my own for a few days, was a hotel disaster. They lost my reservation. The carpet has not been shampooed in who knows how long. Rather than sweeping up debris on the linoleum, it was crammed under the sink. There's a loose tile there as well. The fan didn't work, the light casing was cracked. It takes six minutes for the water to heat up, and the tub doesn't drain quickly. So, no hot soak in the tub for me. Ah, well, at least there's coffee. Well, no, there isn't. There's a coffee maker and two packs of coffee. No cups, no cream and sugar. The lady(who lives on premises, but is only an employee) told me that cream and sugar are available upon request, but you're required to bring your own cup. The lamp next to the tv? Just for show. "People steal the lightbulbs." No guide for the tv either, I'm assuming they believe all visitors are local. As i-wireless does not acknowledge anything south of Somerset, I thought I could use the in-room landline to let my family know I made it safely, but no, that was beyond me as well, even though it says right on the phone they will connect you. The lighting was incredibly dim. The mini fridge was also out of order. I can't attest to the microwave, because nothing got cold enough to require re-heating. When I addressed these concerns at the end of my stay, the excuses included the standard "I just work here," "I'm retiring," and "the 127 Yard Sale had just ended." Yeah. The yard sale is the same time every year. It's not like it's a surprise. Plan for it. It's your business to do so. If they are going to charge $100 a night, MAKE IT WORTH $100 A NIGHT. Not even providing coffee cups is nothing more than a slap in the face. P.S. I wonder where she's going to live once she retires?
