Great value - clean room and nice people! Would definitely stay here again.

While an old facility can be tolerated, this one did not measure up. When first entering the room, we saw that it was not vacuumed (evidence on the floor). The refrigerator had food from a previous traveler. There was a need for a good dusting on the blinds. The bathroom floor had dirty edges and low water pressure in the shower. This room needed a good thorough cleaning. The TV worked fine. The double beds were comfortable. The breakfast was a simple continental one, okay. It had been very windy that day so I will 'assume' the sidewalk area was sandy for that reason. Everything just looked neglected and rather shabby. The place is small enough that one room deep-cleaned once per month would make the difference. We don't need new furniture, just cleanliness. And because we paid $100 (!!!), we slept there (poorly) and did not loose a non-refundable fee from Orbitz.

The room was dirty. The amount of dust looked like it was not cleaned in at least last six months. The room had a very strong smell of the old furniture. The lady in the office was watching TV and even did not looked at me when I came in for the check-in. When I said - Hi, she turned her head and answered - What do you need?

The room was filthy. Sticky carpet. Hair in the shower. The air conditioning did not work. I left at 4:00a.m. because I couldn't stand it anymore.

Bed was dirty. Slept in sleeping bag on top of the bed after taking all blankets off. Shower was also dirty.

Hotel 20 minutes from great Sand Dunes. For the price point, room and bed were small. Breakfast room is in check in space, which is small. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly.

What lovely rooms for the price. Pay no attention to the parking lot. The renovated rooms are fantastic. Granite topped vanity and sink. Nice furnishings. HVAC is modern and works....my pet complaint about all hotels. I'll be back.
