I had gone there for business trip and was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. The rooms are nice and big but it's an old hotel and maintenance needs to improve a bit. The breakfast was not very interesting. Average stay .
Good Hotel , and Very Kind Staff , Very Good Location , Clean Rooms , Very Tight Bath Rooms , TV Screens Not Working , Good Furniture . Good Check in and Check Out , Very Kind Guys in Reception , Good Parking Places for the car ,
A nice place to spend one night. Used it to stay for around 8 hrs. Not a fancy hotel but still got the basics. Rooms are old. Reception staff very friendly and fast. Didn't had a chance for breakfast as it was the holy month of Ramadan
Nice clean hotel with friendly atmosphere ,great location at the heart of jeddah reasonable prices and keeping the stander of the chain of magnificent accor i do recommend this hotel for visitors whom looking for 3-4 stars hotels at jeddah.
The hotel is located in a nice area close to Corniche. Decent rooms with good air-conditioning. Staff were helpful and cheerful. Price was really low for such facilities. Local conveyance available. Overall pleasant stay.
Points of strength: I arrived in the night and there was anything wrong about my reservation by web. The responsible at the reception was professional, quick and kind, solving any issue in a row. Excellent problem solving done. Tasty shawarma at the restaurant Points of weakness: Small fitness room too close to the to the swimming pool. The environment is too humid to run on the treadmill.
The overall experience was very good and the hotel is definitely recommended for Business Stay; the rooms were very clean and staff very friendly; dinner buffet needs a bit improvement although the breakfast was standard and good.
Knowing the prices of hotels in Jeddah, Mercure Al Hamra is a good value for money option. The room was comfortable and large, and the location is good. Staff at the reception very friendly. However, the breakfast is really terrible.
The hotel lobby is fantastic and big. room service is great the room prices are expensive, I could have checked into other hotels nearby with a big difference in price. I was really bothered when i found out that i was checked-in a room with no windows or balcony, and it was a SMOOKING ROOM!!!
The only down side in the room was, in my personal opinion, the small size of the bathroom, but even then all the amenities of very good quality were provided.. I really like the comfort and quietness of the hotel, I was pleased by the check in staff, the gentleman offered me a free upgrade from a standard room to a Junior suite, which was perfect for our little family. A good sized bedroom with nice bed and a separate sitting area, with a T.V in each room. They have an on-site, GYM and a swimming pool which is a plus point. They serve a very good range of quality breakfast and buffet dinner, however we would like to see a few more options in fresh fruit and salads range. The house keeping staff was also very polite and efficient. I cannot complain really, and you can mark my words for that, as I am a very picky and fiddly customer who is used to a very high standard and taste when it comes to selecting resorts or hotels. When I was booking, this hotel, Intercontinental hotel option was offered which is just around the corner from Mercure Alhamra Jeddah. I choose Mercure as a trial and I am happy that I did, they didn't let me down.
