One of the highlights of this property is the shared pool area, where you can take a refreshing dip at any time of the day. Akumal Santamar condo

The details about the condo matched my expectations and what the listing described. The condo was clean, comfortable and had the kitchen necessities. There are pools in many areas with the chance to always find a lounge chair. The beach club with plunge pools with the ability to see the ocean was especially nice. The other guests were always very helpful to share information about the area. The beach is a short 5 minute walk away with great snorkelling which we enjoyed. We did have a security guard from one of the resorts approach us on our last day to ask to see a bracelet. We weren't concerned about this as all Mexico beaches are considered public and we weren't bothered again. It is important to note that this condo is a bit remote and a car would be very helpful. We didn't rent a car and the taxis are expensive but we knew that before we left. It's really important to purchase large jugs of water for your arrival as there aren't any stores around and the water delivery service is unpredictable. Overall we had a pleasant 10 day stay.
