The front looks stunning and certainly like a palace, even better at night. You do have the sense the place is very grande, the gardens are well maintained too, pool area looks good, specially at night, a big big plus is no lager louts strolling by the pool at night let alone daytime. But unfortunately the furnishings are a bit tired and need refreshing and distance to beach is a bit of a walk if you have kids. If you don't like walking too much avoid this place as it requires a lot of walking to get to the beach. Staff are friendly. And overall I suppose it does have its charm and I can appreciate why some people will fall in love with the Islamic architecture of the building as it is lovely, I just wished they maintained the rooms with new furnishings. And wi-fi is hit and miss. Avoid the waiting taxis outside. Always hail taxi that is driving past and ask for meter price as it is cheaper. 5* architecture, rooms are 3-4*.
I stayed from 2 to 12 August to Atlantic Hotel I was fine The staff is very nice especially Josef who is a great concierge . The hotel was very clean ,the beautiful pool .The beach was a bit far and not very nice .Very good breakfast .The room were not large ,but the bathroom was spacious
This Hotel is not a 5 stars. We had a lot of problems : -Wi-Fi not good at all - Hole on the wall - You can't bring your food or your drink. You have to pay in th Hotel . For information: Bottle of water 40dhs (Outside : 6 Dhs) - We waited 3 days to fix the problem with the TV - You can't see your friends in your room - They said "You can see your friend at the pool if they are able to pay 250 Dhs", but they are agree to accept them at the pool's restaurant but not inside the pool - The direction are the worst that I never seen. Good luck if you go in this Hotel

Pros - 5* reception area -good breakfast selection although the hot food is same every day -very clean large outdoor pool -10min drive in to main strip restaurants & marina -room service burgers are good -reception wifi very good - you get a good quiet nights sleep. Stayed at riad villa Blanche last visit - loud music all night - so in comparison nice and peaceful - staff at breakfast friendly - staff at spa friendly Cons - wifi is rubbish hit & miss - restaurant is expensive for what it is -room service pizza & chips terrible cold and salty. - they do not take the room service used plates away for days it will sit outside your room - if u ask for a taxi to be called in they will advise taxi drivers to charge brits 50diram for 10min drive - rooms need updated decor -two double beds stuck together ?? -charge 200 dirham to use in door heated pool - air con in room didn't work- reception will try not to change your room if you have any complaints - is a 3* hotel really - charged our friend - staying at Sofitel - to get into pool area to visit is- Sofitel let us in for free to use lounge area- bathrooms. Overall book if u want 3-4* hotel. If you want 5* go to Sofitel
My partner and I arrived at The Atlantic Palace around 8pm. It was very quiet, barely a soul around, we were told it is because we arrived during Ramadan. We were shown to our room which seemed quite pleasant, although not what I would consider of 5 star quality. The bathroom was very tired and not very clean! There was no complimentary water upon arrival which is the least I would have expected from a 5 star hotel! This hotel has a strict policy of No food and drink (they will check your bags and take it away) so left us at the mercy of paying the hotel prices. A bottle of is water is five times the price of what you pay outside the hotel! There is no facility to make tea or coffee either so in the morning we had to get up, get dressed, walk 20 minutes into town just to get a drink and something to eat. We did go to the pool bar a couple of times (which seemed to be the only place open) however it was very pricey, coffee was barely an inch high and luke warm and the food was not very good quality. There is no entertainment whatsoever at this hotel, no atmosphere at all. The swimming pool was ok, bit cold and the floor was covered with white stuff everywhere which we later realised was bird poo! Loads of noisy sea gulls and they wake you up early in the morning as well!! If you go into town its a 15/20 min walk or a cab which costs around 20/30 dirhams. Same for the "private beach", this was just a piece of the main beach sectioned off with rope, it was probably one of the most run down looking of all the private beaches along here, very poor show for a 5 star resort!!! There are plenty of restaurants to choose from but make sure you check your bill as we found items on our bill which we didn't order!. One restaurant along the front which we found quite good was the Nil Bleu, the food was quite nice, the service was good and there was entertainment there every night. I found the staff at the hotel did not speak English very well so communicating some of the simplest things was a bit of a nightmare. We found the beds in our room very hard and uncomfortable and complained 2 days in a row but nothing changed and we were told that all the beds are the same and they can't do anything. I wouldn't go back to the Atlantic Palace ever again (even if you paid me) and Agadir itself was not a very nice place. we were hounded constantly by small groups of men asking us to buy things or asking for money with their hand out! It was very intimidating and made us feel uneasy everywhere we went. Check your change as we got short changed a couple of times, cab drivers are the worst! My advice is stay away from the Atlantic Place and if you want a more civilised holiday stick to Spain!!!
We stayed as a family of 3 with our 10 yr old daughter in April 2017. It was an amazing place. I looked at the reviews before I went and they were a little mixed. I was not disappointed. For the price we paid it was fantastic. The pool is great the rooms are very spacious and clean. The lobby area is so grande. I agree it is not as modern as other places in Agadir but is that not the point. It is like a Grande old palace. We loved it. the staff are very friendly. There is a lovely poolside bar and the food is great. Breakfast is a buffet and lot's of choices. I would highly recommend the hotel for the location, service and for a slice of authenticity and history in Agadir.
Hotel is decent, staff are friendly enough however expect tips for everything, even showing you to your room!! - stayed here numerous times with friends and family - even spend honeymoon here , reception area is very spacious and the decor is amazing - Bar is overpriced compared to down town, however you have to walk all the way out of the hotel, which is a bit of a walk for a taxi - hotel clean, rooms clean, wifi abit slow - however will recommend and probably stay again.
the hotel was great, huge and clean the pool very nice and the service around the pool room very big, clean with pool view breakfast excellent with a lot of options service and reception was excellent the location very good, near the beach and restaurant area casino at next door, for people that love it we enjoyed this hotel very much
Stayed in this hotel for three nights and was supposed to be here for 7. Really old fashioned, rooms need upgrading and the staff are not helpful and verging on rude. The security are also quite abrupt. The place seems derelict and the beyond the grand facade of the lobby area the rooms are just awful. This is not five star so don't let the dupe you. Checked out and now staying in a real five star. I wouldn't risk booking here!
