The first impression in the hotel is great as it have a very impressive hall. Therefore customer service is leaving much to wish for. Staff doesn’t speak much of english (or they shy maybe?!). When arrived it took a little wile to check in, everyone seems to be very slow. WiFi in the room or on the sides of swimming pool very poor. Almost impossible to use it in the room. Expensive drinks in hotel and an absurd 'no food&drink from outside’ policy. Apparently that’s due to health and hygiene reasons. I can understand that you are not allowed your snacks or drinks in hotel bar, hall or even a swimming pool but we were stopped at the entrance with 4 beers. We have been told that we can’t take them in and by told I mean more showed as the security on the gate just pointed on beers and than back to prohibition sign behind him. Due to that we have been forced to drink in public which is illegal in Morocco. Maybe it’s me but I never ever came across of hotel policy like that, as you pay for you room you should be allowed to eat and drink whatever you like there. Swimming pool ok, no animations - however we were in Agadir on beginning on April so maybe it is different ‚in season’. Breakfast really good, we have been eating other meals out so not sure about hotel's lunch and dinner. Waiters and kitchen staff polite and quite friendly. Bathroom in garden view room not the greatest. Cleaning standards quite ok. I wouldn’t go to that hotel again, as there seems to be much more choice there. Obviously it does depends what are you looking for.

Myself and my friends (8 of us) were shocked and speechless with the rudeness of the mayor part of the staff of this hotel, mainly reception. We arrived and the male receptionist couldn’t find our booking, he asked me with a very bad manners if I had the booking reference, which was provided shortly after, but while it happened he just keep a very arrogant attitude saying “where is the reference” “what name what booked under” “I can’t find it” “maybe is better if you go away from reception and take a sit while you figure this out” making movements with his hands like...get out of the counter....excuse me???? When the booking issue was shorted we look for our luggage which were all together in a trolley in the street with no one around...we waited again (took us over 30 minutes to check in) and as no one showed up to help us out, we took our luggage ourselves and took them to the rooms. After this, I wanted some information about hotel amenities and restaurants, the female receptionist reply to me three times in a row “I don’t know”....maybe if you work in a 5* hotel you should know what time you beauty salon opens, how can I make a booking for the spa or where we can go for lunch next day....I needed to ask for someone that actually knew something! How is this possible? Restaurant least they smile a little...but they were extremely slow (considering that the level of business was very quiet ) ....we received the 2 times that we dined with them the drinks with our main courses after asking twice.... Hotel is beautiful and you have the casino and bars around, but service wise....very disappointing....not even worthy for a hostel.

The hotel is ok... But the WiFi at the Room is awfull bad... You have to stand at one corner to get good WiFi... The prices is way to high, of what you get... The beds are terrible hard, and one time we came home, after the housekeeping have cleaned the room, the didnt close the door... 😤 so be carefull to have valuable items displayed... When youre gone...

I have just got back from my 4 night stay in the Atlantic Palace in Agadir. My first impressions of the hotel as I arrived was "wow" but, as they walked me and my partner to our room it felt like it was miles away from the reception area. Anyway, the room was nicely heated up as it was a little chilly when we landed and the room appeared clean and beds made nicely. However, the bathroom was really old and dated and needed a lot of updating. The bath was old and stained and the tile grouting was dirty. I was really disappointed when I saw the bathroom it was like a 2 star b&b and didn't have the 5 star feel or quality at all. The towels were old and worn and I didn't fancy using them. The shower curtain has mould and the pole fell off into my head as I was having a bath. There was massive cockroaches in the bedroom and I was extremely scared to enter my bedroom because they appeared out of no where. No kettle or drinks available in room at all and this is not acceptable as this hotel claims to be a 5 star. We was asked our room number evertime we went to the dining room and I was that very embarrassing. Tourists are not allowed to take any food or drink to the hotel from outside and are made to buy water that is very expensive from the bar. The indoor heated pool was not open and I was very disappointed as I only booked this hotel for the indoor facilities. I must say however that the staff were lovely and very helpful. The service we got was excellent from the whole team and they make you feel like VIP. Rooms are good size and beds are very large with clean bedding everyday.

I am just back from a week at this hotel, having holidayed here two years ago. I can say that the management have really improved on things in this time. The staff were an absolute delight to deal with, friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. The breakfast was wonderful with a huge choice of fresh produce - really excellent. While I still do not think that it reflects a five star establishment, it certainly would warrant four stars. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

After reading some of the previous reviews I was not sure what to expect. From the first greeting at reception to when we left the Hotel the staff were wonderful. These people are a credit to their employers. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool area was very good although the sunbeds would be better if provided with cushions. As has been said by other people the reception area is very impressive and deserves the title of "palace" In summary a very good experience.

We arrived at 19 january for the fourth time in 5 years. it is a very relaxing hotel and everybody who is working here tries to make you feel at home. Compliments for that. Good falicities and a very good breakfast, quality is high of everything they make. The pool is very good in the middle of the garden and in spite of not having the best weather this year and more wind, we could lie there for relaxing. Attention to the hotelmanagement, you make the beds in the pool more comfortable like on the beach....with a matras because the beds are getting older. Beds on the room are from very good quality .....the rooms need some more attention espacially in the bathroom. Hope for some changes and we come back next year again.

I stayed here on a 4 night break last week. I would recommend the pool view over the garden view room as not only is the view better but it gets sun for most of the day. The hotel is in need of a revamp and I was told that it is due to commence soon. It is in a very central location about a 2 minute walk from the beach and about a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre. Really what made the stay so enjoyable was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff especially Mnsr. Husein on the concierge desk. Very helpful and informative. I stayed on a bed and breakfast rate- there was plenty of choice and the omelettes and pancakes that are made fresh to order were delicious. I would like to thank all the staff for making our visit so enjoyable.

Nice hotel with big rooms and pool air garden view. Impressive lobby and friendly staff. Has an Andalusia type feel to the rooms Didn't have the breakfast but room service is a bit expensive for the quality of the food All in all good value for what you get

Words cannot express how beautiful this hotel is – my shots from the mobile don’t do it justice - and I have never seen ceilings like it, so intricate, so breathtakingly beautiful, staggering really... The staff are incredibly friendly in a variety of languages: I unearthed my college French, we got along so well with that - but my wife used only English - and they could not do enough to help, with a huge smile most of the time. We loved breakfast (we were B&B only) as it set us up for the day, the choice is second to none, even for a veggie like me, and we got to know the staff very well in a short space of time. One of them went out of his way to bring us both an extra orange juice (incredibly good btw) every day (there was no limit I should add) wherever we sat in the lovely (big) breakfast hall, and made us feel special.. They all loved the fact that we said hello in (our) Arabic – marhabaan - which we were saying as ‘mehrhaba’ (phonetic), and gave us a massive grin – thumbs up in some cases. I don’t know about you but if you cannot learn to say ‘hello’ in the country you are staying in you should stay at home. Our room was great and very spacious, our beds were nearly in different time zones they were so big, hot water was immediately available – instantly in our room – and room service ensured we were well looked after. We got to know our “maid” (I hate that word) very well and made sure to show her our thanks, which she appreciated a lot... Poolside food was great and service similarly exemplary. The Taj Majal restaurant – in house – was just staggering, jaw-droppingly beautiful, and the buffet meal was superb, even for a veggie (I had 5 desserts as I could not choose – I paced myself on the veggie tagines, diverse breads and lovely couscous so as to have space!) - my wife, as a fish & meat eater, was in seventh heaven... Some fine (and some very fine) wines were available too: thanks to my research I knew which ones to choose! The local musicians were captivating and appreciated that I so obviously loved their music... If you want to gamble there is a casino a few meters away and a night club too but we never knew were there to be honest... I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! The (amazing, totally incredible) beach is 500 metres away and the hotel’s private section ensures that you are free from all hassle. I had a lovely chat with the Amazigh lad who was on duty one day and we shared pictures of our home areas, he suggested areas we should visit and I said that we would return for sure. It does not get any better than this IMHO!
