Lovely hostess. Good room on the back side of the house. Exquisite breakfast room and great variety to choose from. Shower slightly weak but towels fresh from the outside clothesline. Short 10 minute walk to a lovely town: Adare.

Our stay at Coatesland House could not have been more pleasant. Our host Florence saw to our every need. The breakfast choices were expansive and delicious. Rooms were large and comfortable. We are returning in a month.

I was traveling through on the last day of May and was very lucky to have found this last minute accommodation. A beautiful home in such a charming town. And so nice to be able to walk to the center of Adare and all it's restaurants, pubs, parks, etc. Florence was a gracious host & very helpful with perfect suggestions. The room was clean & comfortable & the breakfast was wonderful. I hope to be back one day.

A great overnight stay. Very comfortable, inviting and clean. Everything you need with the bonus of a wonderful Irish breakfast! What an amazing breakfast spread with the best cup of coffee as an added bonus.

Pulling into Coatesland House at the end of a long, weather challenged day from Doolin and the Aran Island was a like finding a shining beacon of light. Things only got better as I was warmly welcomed by Florence. A truly lovely person, she runs a phenomenal B&B where she has thought about every last detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It’s spotlessly clean, homey, and everything runs smoothly. There are sitting areas inside and outside (which is also lovely). After getting acquainted with Florence and her darling dogs, she gave me the best recommendation for dinner which was perfect after my long day. And we bonded over our shared connections to my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. Her place is centrally located to make the easy and visually appealing walk into Adare. By the way, Adare is a perfect place to stay being less than two hours from both the cliffs and Dingle. I’m so glad I stumbled on this gorgeous little village in one of my guidebooks and then found Coatesland House for boarding. My only regret is that I stayed for only one night. I’m already dreaming of coming back. (And yes....breakfast IS wonderful)

My friends and I stayed here for three nights and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! The house was well kept and the rooms well apportioned. Our family en-suite even had two separate bathrooms, which you can imagine was beyond helpful with 4 women traveling together! Florence was a delight...super helpful and attentive with wonderful recommendations for the local area. Claire couldn’t have been more accommodating every morning for breakfast as well! She was super cheery and warm and a pleasure to talk with full of even more helpful recommendations which came in handy! Can’t say enough good things about this B&B! I plan on returning to Ireland and definitely staying here when I do!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon, sadly, only for a night. Florence was so sweet and helpful. Her dogs were sweet and adorable! I’d highly recommend staying here! Adare is a lovely place I’ve been to several times, but I never had the pleasure of meeting Florence until this time.

We stayed here for one night and now we’re wishing it would have been more. Florence is a delight, she is informative, and very attentive to her guests. The house is well kept, the rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is DELICIOUS. They had homemade croissants that are to die for. I had two and took a third for the road. Would highly recommend.

Coatesland is a great spot to set up hq when you visit the West of Ireland. Beds are nice with warm blankets. Breakfast is what your looking for to start your day, delicious! Florence can accommodate any of your request. Just a short walk, like 8 minutes to the nice little town of Adare. Shopping, pubs, and friendly people. If I go to Ireland, I stay here.

Florence was amazing; my husband and I enjoyed staying at her B&B. Her dogs were clean and well trained, they gave us the feeling of being home. The food was delicious and abundant. Would love to go back.
