The Internet in the hotel is very bad
Fantastic
The staff was great. Hall ways leading to rooms are a bit stale and muggy.
Other than the hotel internet not working in the room (I had to use another connection), it was a great experience. The room was clean and the staff was courteous and attentive. Plan on staying at that hotel again when I go back.
I've stayed at this HI many times. It is usually full of business travelers as it is very close to Accra airport. Few hotels in Accra have the conveniences this hotel has, such as shuttle to airport, business center for printing and computer use, full restaurant and breakfast buffet with a good variety of food, large rooms with wifi, and a large restaurant, bar, and lobby where it is easy to meet for a business lunch, etc. That's about all I can say about this hotel. The rooms are old but large, the desk staff is not very friendly, and the hotel has more foreign visitors and white folk than it has Africans. If you want to see Ghana, avoid this place, but if you're traveling on business then staying here can save you a lot of time and trouble finding what you need in Accra.
Modern hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Room is ordinary but clean with all you need. Free internet .Free bus to airport.
So I have been traveling to Ghana and to Accra in particular for more than 10 years. Ghanaians are some of the warmest hospitable people in the world... and once you get past the front desk (reception/ reservations management) you meet nice friendly service staff. [...] The hot water didn't work both nights we stayed there and the GM admitted he had experienced that himself...If you want to be in this hotel and pay $100 more than you need to to get comparable rooms at Golden Tulip or somewhere else go ahead[...]
