The best hotel so far. I really enjoy to stay here. Hotel it's clean, food it's delicious, bathroom have so many stuff for use, more than 5star hotels. I really like a manager of hotel she is so friendly and helpful.

Stayed overnight was greeted very friendly staff and porters. Used shuttle service which was free on very professional. Used room service which was quick and food was as i ordered. I would stay there again

I visited Ghana for the first time in December and found that Holiday Inn was a very convenient area to stay in. The rooms were really clean and comfortable and the service was good. Had some issues with the tv that took 2 days to sort out, but other than that it was great. The breakfast was amazing, as was the bar. And the hotel has some cultural aspects making it unique compared to other holiday inns.

This Holiday Inn is the deluxe of all Holiday Inn's in my opinion. Great stay, friendly people with the exception of musty smell in my room on the 3rd floor. Air conditioning unit Needs rejuvenating. I recommend this hotel.

First of all I have to say that I did not personally pay the £1000+ cost of the six day stay at this hotel, my client paid this as they had been given a preferred rate (would have cost me a lot more) don't get me wrong, the staff here are in the most part very professional and attentive, But, my bathroom had mold around the bath, the remotes were stored on a wooded shelf type thing that looked like a 4yr old made it at school. The phone didn't work one evening when I wanted room service, it was reported when I had to go down to reception to place my order, and wasn't fixed for nearly 48hrs, and again I had to go down to tell them. when I arrived it was quite late at night, but I decided to go and have a drink by the pool, and was almost immediately jumped on by a prostitute, this is supposed to be a secure hotel, they have security out front checking all the cars in and out. I reported this on the second night when it happened again, and was informed the head of security would be spoken to....alas it happened again, and I resorted to pretty much staying in my room, and not going to the pool area after dark. This was my first time in Accra, and also my first time in Africa, and I really wasn't impressed, I will be back as the client will request it, but I will do all I can to stay at a different hotel.

There is a courtesy lounge at the airport (international arrives) for the Holiday Inn. The service is good and prompt and the staff are friendly. I had the spicy calamari which was really nice (tell the staff how hot/spicy or mild you would like it and they will tell the chef)

Decent Hotel for a business traveller. Close to the airport and city. A little dated but clean and comfortable. Good service outside on the terrace but the restaurant team can be a little slow. Rooms are a good size and clean. Not bad value for money.

grossly over-priced, zero improvements in 4+ years nonetheless they do have a decent breakfast and staff is good the decor and rooms are simply horrendous though IHG must have zero standards they can enforce for this property if photo attached of 1960's model iron and filthy ironing board is acceptable?

As holiday Inns go this one is average at best, it really needs a face lift and some staff training. It close to the airport but struggling to find other positives. Had lunch and breakfast and the food was okay.

The Holiday Inn Accra has a lot going for it, but it also has a lot of room for improvement. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, making it an ideal place to go for long layovers. The location also sports a lovely outdoor pool and restaurant area, which is clearly popular with guests and locals alike. I find the service consistently good and I am always impressed with the quality of the food at the hotel's different restaurants. Though I find their room prices a bit high, I do think as more 5 star competition comes to town, we are likely to see prices go down. Many of the rooms also have maintenance issues. My air conditioner was very loud and the hallway smelled of mold, likely due to the leaking ac in the hallway - which, admittedly was promptly fixed when I mentioned it to the front desk. My main criticism of the hotel is as follows: The hotel seems to tacitly accommodate prostitution. I say this because of the prevelance of working girls in the outdoor restaurant at night. The hotel appears to be known as a "girl friendly" establishment, which, in the day and age of human trafficking awareness, is totally unacceptable and inexcusable. I would hope that the hotel would make more efforts to address this issue in the future.
