It's an old hotel, looks old, smells old. Needs some maintenance. TV didn't work properly, rooms were very basic. Pool is nice but we could only get towels late in the morning. We went out for breakfast and left the No disturb sign on the door. However we found the door wide open when we can back and no one around. Breakfast was ok but we had to order pancakes separately. Only deserts were mini croissants. No coffee machine, only black coffee. Maintenance noise from the revamp of an area close to the pool. In the region you'll find better for less.
The worst Eid holiday experience ever. 1- ignorance of room service 2- cold food at breakfast 3- ghost house coffee shops after pool time 4- zero facilities at the pool 5- no supervision in the children's room 6- overall experience: never come to this hotel
I went there one night only ..its somehow old place .. I enjoyed their food its very good, but the problem is that i think they accept alot of day pass from guests are not staying in the hotel they take alot of people so you find it sometimes very busy on the pool and even no place to sit on the pool.they should care more about this thing and not to take this number of guests because the pool is small.
If you are a tourist in abu dhabi, this place a so so visit compared to other hotels and attraction but if you are a resident and is looking to escape the usual spots people crowd over to go during the weekend then this place is a nice escape between dubai and auh. The beach is small and is really for the ibiza not the hotel but the pool is decent sized and is very quiet...nice get away place but thats it.
Had a one night stay at this property in Ghantoot. The property is older, check in was slow, the rooms basic but clean. Our room over looked the pool. The hotel has a bar which is dingy and a lounge bar which is better. I had a steak at the lounge bar that was rather tasty. The breakfast was average. average hotel
We went for a lunch in the Golden Tulip Al Jazira and we took a look in the areas of the Hotel they have a Marina with boats and water sports which is attractive The Hotel look a bit old in some areas however is well maintained We went for lunch and we were the only costumers there also in this area it looks old The menu is not that too much attractive and a bit expensive and the food food is just average i would give only 3 stars but because of the beauty of the Marina i will give 4
We stayed in this hotel 1 week business related and it was quite good, pool is big, sun beds are nice and in the weekends there is a beach party which we enjoyed a lot. Food is pretty good as well. Only bad thing is location. Hotel is located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi takes around 40 min to drive to both places.
I have to admit my expectations were much lower.. so I can say I was pleasantly surprised.. The rooms are quite spacious and clean with a great AC. Bath tub is a bit small though which made it challenging to take a shower.. Breakfast was ok and lunch was not so bad as well.. i don't think I would stay there again but enjoyed it nonetheless
Actually i was very excited to come to ghantoot; but the hotel was so poor for charging 550 aed for the room; i requested pool view but got trre view; the hotel have 2 bars so people at night were running and out neighbor was hitting on our door connection; there is team/camp people were running around like someone got killed. Overall the hotel shouldn't ve 4 start max need to be 2 starts. And they need to keep more security to avoid drunk people from going around like crazy.
Me and my husband love to travel and visit places and we found quite such a place to relax in the middle of more likely an island. Walked around the bungalows around the area. Came from Dubai one Saturday morning and had our light snack in the coffee shop where One enthusiastic Filipina lady named Nicole gave us such a wonderful experience. She gave us what we ordered fast and courageously. The dynamite shrimp was fantastic. Also tried the dried beef biltong which has been hughly recommended. Well done. Regards,
