My daughter came to visit me this closest motel to my home she found hypodermic needles bloody rags packages of stuff bottles of fluids all in bathroom clearly do not clean rooms and no refunds allowed after 10 mins don't stay
This place I wouldn't even recommend to a homeless person , I was there only an hour before I started getting eaten alive by bedbugs never again if they dont refund my money I will be taking someone to court and call health dept . And I do have photos
The pictures on the website for this place are very misleading. The rooms are disgusting. The beds are lumpy and have no top sheet. There are walls in the tub that have water damage, and the tiles could fall off. This place is more seedier that an actual whorehouse. It had the stench of raunchy sexual escapades and harsh drug use.
The hotel is a little run down and doesn't offer any breakfast or anything. We stayed in a 2 bed suite, the room was a very large size room with two double beds and two couches that pull out to a bed. The A/C was cold and beds was comfortable. The outside of the hotels needs work and staff is friendly. This place is right in the middle of town and easy access to HWY 84 and I20. The TV channels needs a lot of help as doesn't offer any good channels :(
I would rather sleep in my car than this hotel. We could only bare to be there for 15 minutes maybe less. There was blood all over the walls and the beds. There is brown mold all over the bathroom. On top of that the stay in residence of the hotel made us feel very uncomfortable. They're all crackheads! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
This place is a nightmare! The housekeeping is getting high in rooms and with customers. Money and a computer was stolen from our room. Their is prostitution around the back area and the owner is aware of activities. They rent rooms out to dealers to sell drugs from their rooms and sexual activities. The cops need to do something because kids live there with their druggie parents many nights sometimes months!
I must say that I have never stayed at the hotel but the resterant HAS some of the best steaks in the USA! I've eaten here several time back in the 80's & early 90's While stationed in Abliene. While passing through a while back I dropped in for a bite to eat. STILL GREAT! The Chatue Breau was amazing as it always was. The atmospher is old west Elegance & well maintained. Service was good. presintation was very good.
I made the mistake of trying to save money by renting a room at the ROYAL INN for a month. The Carpet was damp and sticky and the Carpet Cleaning Machine "had just broken". Mold was growing all through the carpet and even tho I don’t have allergies, Toxic Mold spores seriously attacked my eyes, irritating and reddening them till I couldn’t see. I resorted to wearing a pair of swim goggles the whole time I was in this room!!!!! If you don't value your health this place can probably put an end to it. The Royal Inn is a health hazard. Do NOT even Consider Staying Here!!!!! TOXIC MOLD, BUGS, DIRTY, SMELLY SHEETS AND TOWELS. Why Abilene allows places like this to exist is incomprehensible.
Avoid this place, we only stopped because we were absolutely exhausted (and could have ended up in a nicer place just two miles down the road...). We were given one of their "nicest" rooms, located in the far back of the complex. The "hotel" is mostly long-term guests, a few folks looked a little scary. Truck stops are nicer. See pics of what a "nicer" room includes. The wifi only works near the office and you might as well be in the lobby to get coverage. You get what you pay for I guess. The bar is like a honky tonk and made the visit tolerable because it's a locals hangout. We met some very kind locals who suggested the Dixie Pig for breakfast the next morning - that alone made our stay decent. But don't stay here if you have a choice - try the multiple chain hotels on the 83, just South of the I20.
I and my friend stayed here and they are not friendly. The hotel is to far from town.they have accused us of things we didn't do. Not enough lights. There is black mold in the bathroom. This is not a good place to stay. We will not be back. My friends will not come here either.
