Disgusting place, mold spores growing in bathroom, hair everywhere, holes in the wall with bugs crawling out of them. This place is disgusting and will never stay here again and needs to close this place down. Nobody was in the lobby for entire night/morning. They claim to provide breakfast from 6-9 but that is also a lie.
ext 286A of i20,budget hotel.Has a much more local, hometown feel to it than the big chains, and the price was very reasonable. That included breakfast a really good value. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay there again.
This was the worst hotel that I have every been in. The lobby looked great but The rooms were dirty, smelly, & just gross. The bathroom was the worst. I was willing to stay till I looked in the bathtub. It was rusty and looked like someone had tried to paint it with house paint then it started to peel off. When my 89 year old mother & I told the clerk that we could not stay in those conditions all he said was his manager said he would need to charge us for one night and he did. Please don't stay here because you will probably catch a nasty disease. I did not feel safe and made sure we got out of there before dark. Run don't walk away from this place. I only booked this hotel because I had a funeral to go to and there were no other rooms in town. I know why now. My family in Abilene knew about this place and said I should not stay here.
I've been travelling I the US and Canada for the past three weeks and this Is without doubt the very worst place we have stayed in. The hallways and restrooms are filthy, the room smells damp and humid and the bath is cracked and peeling. Not a pleasant experience. Frontier conditions! Had we arrived in daylight we would have gone elsewhere
We stayed there with our children. It's filthy!! The rooms were dirty, There were urine stains on the seat in the bathroom, the tub had hair in it, the microwave was nasty, I had to clean out the fridge myself, the filters in the AC must not have been changed in forever.the floors were awful!! It's a very seedy place. Half dressed people in the hall at night, trash all over the parking lot, the pool looked green, and we saw a guy push a girl out of his room and throw money at her. That place should be shut down!! Or move to Harry Hines. Yes, there are bugs, and stains on the beds. And if they had maid service I would be shocked!! Don't stay there. It's disgusting!! And the noises you here from the other rooms at night are not noises you want your children to hear.
Arrived early in the morning and just need a place to crash. This places is invested with roaches or bed bugs dont stay here..The matress had stains of what I dont know? This place gives Abilene a bad name.
The service is great, the rooms are very clean, and the owners are nice people.
We stayed one night to check this place out to see if we wanted to book it for extended stay. Boy, are we glad we did! The lobby is new and clean but that's where it ends. The room smelled, the furniture was dusty, the carpet wasn't vaccumed, cockroaches!!!, there was someones drinking straw wrapper and hair on the sink counter, hair and dirt on the bathroom floor, no toilet paper or kleenex, there were loud popping and creaking noises coming from the walls and ceilings all the time and I sat in one of the stained chairs to find the back was broken. We did not even think about taking a shower in this place. We felt we were cleaner NOT showering. If you think you want to stay here, just sleep in your car!
I took a large group of kids to Abilene. Since there was so much going in Abilene that weekend, Budget Host was the only Hotel left. Bob the owner told my travel agent that they had a working pool. Upon arrival we found out that the pool was nasty, smelly and green. One could not see past a few inches into the water. Some students reported having HUGE roaches in their rooms, and there was a soiled towel in my room and a soiled towel in the student's room next to mine. Breakfast was old chewy cereals, warm milk and a microwave. One kid did find the fruit, a banana. One, banana was all of their "fresh fruit" offerings on their breakfast. One kid left their phone charger. We called and owner Bob said he would "gladly send it to us." 3 weeks later he finally sent it, COD, charging us $10 for mailing it to us, for a total charge of $18 for our charger. I found him to be dishonest and a cheat. No one should ever ever stay at this hotel, unless you have a pet lizard you want to eat the giant roaches.
