Another great stay, would never stay any where else, would give it 10 stars if possible, almost everything you need away from home, the staff very friendly, Hannah always makes sure everything is great. Rooms are amazing with the upper rooms having a view, walking distance to the beach.
I enjoyed my stay here so much. It was quiet and relaxing. The rooms are really nice and clean the the employees were wonderful. The beach is within walking distance and there are a lot of nice restaurants nearby. I will definitely stay here again!
I love this place. It's roomy and very romantic. It's close to stores and restaurants. Next time I plan to book in advance so I can have a room on the upper floors with a view. The staff was friendly and I felt taken care of.
We have stayed at the Judith Ann Inn twice now and we don't think a year will go by that we don't going forward. When it comes to space and comfort, this place is the best in Ocean Shores! The Rooms are amazing and the staff is always friendly.
Especially liked the hot tub and fireplace in the living room, we wanted an ocean view and thought we booked one but didn't get one because the main floors don't have a view of the ocean, could have had one on the second night when I went down to pay my bill at 11:00am on the 26th the cleaning lady at the desk said they had an opening on the evening of the 26th, but wouldn't give it to us because it would be hard for them to take the extra time to clean the room to let us in, so they weren't willing to put the effort in to getting us the view, other than that we had a nice stay, might do it again if we can book an ocean view.
When we checked into the hotel, the clerk (who is also the housekeeper) used our card and applied it to another customer's room. We were there for our anniversary and all of a sudden $421.48 was taken from our Debit Card. She was sorry that it happened, and the credit should be issued by the end of the day, but Now it's 5 days later and we still don't have our money back. To say the least, HANNAH THORNTON who is the property manager didn't even try to apologize. I had to embarrassingly tell our son, because I just wrote out a rent check to him and that it will bounce, because of this HOTEL ERROR. Also, this hotel has about 10 rooms or so and only 2 were rented out, and where so they put the other people? Right next next door. No bar soap for the shower, BRING your own because the front office closes at 5:00 Loud noises coming from the heaters too, They turn on every 9 seconds and run for 2 seconds. I know, because it kept me up all night. Fan didn't work on the fireplace. The door to the balcony opens after a struggle and good luck closing it! Needless to say that after paying for our room Plus the extra charge on our card, it was a POOR Man's anniversary celebration. I noticed that other reviews were nice, but they were written 2 YEARS AGO. Another friend of our stayed there recently and they had the experience of a very dirty room! BOOK at your own risk!!
We stayed in the Charleston Room and enjoyed it. Spacious, clean, comfortable, great kitchen! It was cleaner than many of the hotels we have stayed at there in the area. We would definitely recommend the Judith Ann Inn!
We enjoyed every aspect of our Suite at Judith Ann Inn. The accommodations were immaculate and updated and the location perfect. We enjoyed our patio chairs with our coffee in the morning and loved the view. The hot tub was perfect. The aroma and sound of the sea is so tranquil. We will come to Judith Ann again.
The Judith Ann Inn sits at the very end of the strip of hotels in Ocean Shores, and as such, it is one of the quietest locations to stay! Each room is like a 1BR apartment condo, fully furnished in a more Victorian style however the full kitchens are extremely well equipped for modern conveniences and the large (built for two!) jetted hot tub is simply marvelous! My only wish is that there was a restaurant or some food offered on site, it would be a perfect location for a restaurant. Also, I'm sure A/C on the ocean is not usually necessary, however during my stay, I was very hot in the evenings as the bedrooms are located on the OPPOSITE side from the ocean so no breezes came in at all. Also, try to book yourself a 2nd floor room, the 1st floor ones do not have ocean views (views blocked by brush) but at least the sounds of the ocean were there! I will return and stay on the 2nd floor -- probably in the fall when I can enjoy the in-room fireplace as well!
My husband & I spent the night here to escape the heat further inland. We were very surprised at how large our room was! It's basically an apartment! It's beautifully appointed; large screen TV's in both the living room & bedroom. There's a full kitchen if you do desire to cook in your room. The view of the ocean from our upper deck (Richmond Suite) is spectacular. We were treated to a stunning sunset. We will definitely be returning.
