We enjoyed our weekend getaway. The bed was extremely comfortable. The convenience of the restaurant was great since there isn’t many dining places close. We enjoyed the adult only area of the pool and hot tub since we were on a weekend getaway. The resort is secluded and very quiet. Such a pretty view of the lake from our room!

The food quality at Shellers Barrelhouse was very poor. Food was served cold at two different visits and it just didn't taste great. The hotel condition was not optimal either. Flickering lights and unmaintained landscaping in some areas is not expected of a luxury hotel.

The air conditioning in our room was malfunctioning. The front desk immediately sent in the handyman three separate times they were very quick to try to fix it even though it took three times to get it working correctly over the span of 2 days. They had a box fan for our use which we appreciated.
