Loved this resort!! They have everything there: a pool, a lazy river, bikes for adults and kids, volleyball, s’mores, movies, different nature gardens, longhorns, goats, horses....it was so beautiful!!!

Beautiful place for a short retreat . A nice Getaway for the weekend !

Excellent service and long list of amenities for the entire family.

LOVED our time at Lost Pines. Hotel, staff, food, all amenities were awesome!! Even loved the the deer on the golf course. Thank you for a great weekend!! Also a HUGE thank you to Rubi for finding us the perfect room, despite the late house of our check-in!! She rocks!!

Very pretty setting, beautiful grounds - all around friendly helpful staff and good service. Food was better than expected for a hotel.

Great facility with much to do! I love how there are so many kids and how they play kick ball at night and eat smores together. It's an all american kind of place. Sitting in the rocking chairs and enjoying the country and landscape is very relaxing. It's a perfect place to get away and enjoy time with your family and disconnect. The internal central area off the lobby can sometimes be conjested and loud on the weekends. Since all the dining is located in one central corridor. It can be madness at times. In my most recent stay there were some off putting "rules" communicated by some of the staff that left a bad impression but that is quickly forgotten when you are enjoying the grounds and amenities. They do a good job of having activites to partake in all day. You'll enjoy yourselves.

This was my first time at the resort. The facility is amazing. The seasonal decorations we're great, all we needed was done snow which we got two days after leaving. I hate snow, but longer for it while there. Can't wait to take the wife there. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Couldn't at for better.

I have stayed here once before and will come back with our kids, but it wasn't the best for our anniversary trip as a couple. Much more of a family atmosphere than a romantic one and I found the restaurant wait staff to be delightful, but slow with drinks and our check on multiple occasions.

Great place to get away! Great lazy river, adult pool, beach pool, beach bar. Great bar, decent restaurant. Smores by campfire at night! Hiking, biking! Gift shop, breakfast and coffee shop. Lots more!

Pool was awesome. Lots of activities to do. Breakfast was good.

It's a great place to hang out overnight. Very peaceful and quiet during the school season. Staff very pleasant and beers was cold. Great golf rates and nice course. Live bands on weekend and bar food was excellent. We did the skeet shooting and family golf outing. I opted to the first floor balcony so I can smoke a cigar outside my patio.

The resort has great amenities and activities. Its location is far off of Highway 71 in peaceful, wooded seclusion, but close enough to Austin to partake of activities there. Our room was hot when we arrived. It took us several hours running the air conditioner at maximum cool to make it acceptable. We ordered room service and the kitchen got our order wrong. Nevertheless, the person who delivered our food when beyond the call of duty to try and make up for the kitchen's deficiency. We ordered room service because we could not get in the only upscale restaurant on the property. The food was average for a hotel. As with any "resort", the value is not really present, but overall, we had a very comfortable and relaxing weekend.

I will say that I am 50 years old and have NEVER been treated so good, The staff was beyond great .

This beautiful hotel/resort provides everything so that you never have to leave during your stay. It is very family oriented, so there were a lot of children during our stay...but with all the amenities for adults, including having an adult pool and hot tub...this was wonderful. We were most impressed by the staff! Everyone all the way from the greeters, front desk, maids and servers went above and beyond! A special "shout out" to our young man, Emilio, that served us at the pool! Buffet was excellent every night and made this a great perception of value for our meals. By the way, this is our 3rd stay! It can be expensive, but if you search for deals that would be your best bet.

Perfect mix of relaxing with every bit of entertainment you would want for a friend's weekend away or to bring your family. The restaurants on site are amazingly delicious and well priced. We joked about how much staff was around at all times, but it was so nice to have so many helpful, friendly faces. Can't wait to go back someday.

This was our first real resort gettaway and we loved it. It sets the bar pretty high. We actually missed our kids because we saw so many families have a great time. Will go back for sure but will have the kiddos with us :)

Stayed 2 nights. Fine dining location meal and service excellent; noon meal location (non casual) was good, but 2 items cold and missing an item (all taken care of promptly). In-room breakfast dining was surprisingly hot and really really good (had potato omelet). Breakfast location dining was ok, ordered same omelet off menu, but was missing ingredent (they remade). Cabana dining was good, but margaritas were made with a puree, way too sweet, and definitely NOT TX! And got a surprise service charge! Unfortunately, cold weather and "heat not turned on until Friday afternoon for weekend" for the winding river float prevented us from partaking. Great view of River. Resort “pets" were great pic opps. Archery was fun. Spa was excellent! Beds out of this world! The location was very secluded, nestled in the Pines. All staff was available and helpful. Only wish there was a vendor there that had scooter’s for rent, a lot of walking for someone who can’t do a lot. Missed out on ‘walking’ along the path of the river. But, other amenities, all I had to do was ask and the staff got us quickly to that on-site location via a cart. Close to Austin, but new toll roads make it confusing on getting to and from Resort, even a conseiger had trouble trying to give directions, but promptly sent them up to the guest’s room.

Staff is very friendly, and atentive . Food was wonderful, the room was also very nice. Definitely will be going back
