Need power at all seats

Feb 2, 2020

I have one complaint. Why does American Airlines allow passengers to recline their seats in coach? It happens to me every time I fly with American. With the limited space between seats it puts pressure on my knees when the passengers in front of me recline their seast. On a few occasions I've have asked the passenger in front of me not to recline and it always result in a refusal and some times outright hostility. I try to be polite but they all believe it is their right. On one occasion a flight attendant accommodated me my letting me move to another seat. I note that the seats on the Spirit Airlines do not recline. That makes sense to me considering the limited space in coach. Why not American do the same?

Aside from the immigration line in Miami that had nothing to do with the rest of the flight, had an excellent experience.

So much better than United! We got to sit with our children for no additional fee! Staff is friendly too.

The airlines have created a situation with the carry on bags in that folks are using these cases to avoid checking luggage. Some have more than one carry on and use the overhead causing limited overhead space. Some passengers then resort to moving folks stuff around to make room for their wheeled bags. I pay to check a bag and travel mostly with a back pack and have been told to put it under my seat to accommodate those with the larger wheeled cases. This is not fair. Check it if there is no additional space in the overhead. I keep cameras and related equipment in my back pack.
