When you fly to Portland, you had better have plenty of energy, because this exciting city really does have it all to offer, to visitors and residents alike. Portland is the largest city in Oregon State, and has plenty of attractions and facilities, that are bound to make your stay both enjoyable and memorable.
Nature lovers will adore hiking in Forest Park and the Columbia River Gorge alike, and if you like a slice of the orient, we would recommend the Portland Japanese Garden as well. St Johns Bridge is a stunning piece of architecture to witness, and Tryon Creek State Park is not to be missed.
Portland International Airport (PDX) has a direct rail service connecting you to downtown, and has plenty of shuttle buses and taxis also. The city itself is well served by an efficient and clean bus service. You may even wish to use one of the many car hire firms found at the airport, after you fly to Portland International Airport (PDX).
For food fans we would suggest both Pok Pok, and Andina restaurant; both offer world class cuisine, at a price to make you smile.
