Flying to Linate Airport

Milan is home to some of the world s most spectacular cathedrals, chapels and Catholic architecture; many of which can still be visited today. Not to be outdone in modern times, this populous city hosts thousands at its luxurious and contemporary Fiera Milano Exhibition Center, and is now a virtual Mecca for up-and-coming architects, fashion-designers and artists.

When it s time to explore, head to the Milan Cathedral, then visit the gargoyles which guard the Terrazze del Duomo. Be sure to tour the Cimitero Monumentale, one of the largest cemeteries in Milan, it features many ornate headstones.

Pricey but worth every penny, the L'Ultima Cena museum is home to Leonardo s Last Supper, but the less expensive, but no less expansive, Duomo Museum also has some beautiful pieces to peruse. For something fun and free, the Acquario Civico, or Civic Aquarium, is a great after-lunch stop for families.

Hints and tips

Flights Review

Feb 20, 2020

The seats are so close together that I had to set sideways to keep my knees out of the seat in front of me. I am 6' 2" but most flight my knees just brush the back.

Feb 3, 2020

Inappropriate movies. Children on flights are able to view other people screens. Some movie choices to explicit and vulgar even for some adults.
