La casa cubre más de 7,000 pies cuadrados de espacio interior y exterior. El inmenso y bien cuidado jardín, que se extiende todo el camino hasta el mar, florece con una gran variedad de plantas tropicales y palmeras. Pérgolas con sombra en los lados este y oeste de la villa ofrecen el lugar perfecto para una tarde de lectura lejos del intenso sol. Al entrar en esta casa se le llevará por sorpresa por las espectaculares vistas del Océano Atlántico, la bahía vidriosos, las islas cercanas más pequeñas deshabitadas, arrecifes y la vegetación virgen en la distancia. La villa diseñado para armonizar con el medio ambiente, le permite convertirse en uno con la naturaleza como una gran terraza que se extiende la longitud de la casa conecta todas las habitaciones y ofrece la experiencia de vida interior / exterior en cada paso del camino. En la terraza extendida es un jardín de estilo patio, zona de estar independiente y el infinito filo piscina.


Dormitorios 1 y 2: Todas las habitaciones tienen baño privado y ventiladores de techo, aunque la zona goza de la brisa constante. El primer y segundo dormitorios están en la derecha de la entrada principal de la villa. 1 dormitorio está amueblado con una cama queen size con dosel, mesillas de noche con lámparas y un amplio walk-in closet. El baño está equipado con los mejores accesorios de baño de calidad y una ducha al aire libre. El segundo dormitorio en suite se encuentra cerca de la primera pero con un amplio espacio entre las habitaciones de la vida privada. Estas dos habitaciones también tienen entre ellos una sala de armario / almacenamiento de lino. El segundo dormitorio está equipado con una cama king size de marco de metal, mesas de noche con lámparas y un amplio walk-in closet. El baño es idéntica a la de un dormitorio.

Todos los cuatro baños en suite son idénticos en carácter; todos ellos son muy grandes, con duchas de techo abierto cubiertas por una malla.

Comedor y sala de estar: Volviendo a la entrada principal de la villa, un paseo bajo el porche cubierto conduce a la cocina, comedor y sala de estar, mientras que caminar más allá del jardín estilo patio y piscina. Los armarios son italianos y son de color blanco puro y cubierto con mármol que fue cuidadosamente escogido para mejorar el espacio. Una unidad de la isla grande con bloque de carniceros adorna la cocina que incluye taburetes para disfrutar del desayuno o el café casual. Junto a la cocina es una gran despensa.

Dormitorios 3 y 4: al final de la gran terraza desde el salón es la suite principal, que es accesible desde ambos lados de la Villa. A beautiful home in a beautiful location. Quiet, relaxing and spacious enough for privacy even if a few couples are in your group. Fantastic views of the lagoon and ocean beyond and just a short drive to great beaches and restaurants. Our 7th trip to the Longhouse and won't be our last!

Oasis of Tranquility

The Long house is paradise found! My husband and I spent 6 weeks in this beautiful home. It begins with an elegant stone entry and big doors that open to gardens and sky. The next thing you see is a glowing infinity pool and then the view that goes out across inlets of sea, lush green hills and big sky view. I often found myself standing on the veranda and just looking, the changing sky here is a show in itself. The kitchen opens to the outdoors and living space, every wall in this house opens up to catch the wind and bring in the sun or to create shade. It is like living outside but with the comforts of the indoors. We loved the sunrises on the back patio and the sunsets out by the pool. We would come home from the beach, pool dip and then grab our bottle of wine, situate the lounges and tuck in for our evening sunset, it was different and spectacular every night! It became our evening movie and afterwards the star gazing was the night cap. This home is cool, breezy and opens up so much that occasionally a bird would soar right through the living room. One day I looked up into the eyes of a cute little bird perched on the couch across from me, just checking me out. We loved the wild Donkeys that live along the road, while there, a foul was born, he would peek out from behind his mama with his thick bangs, so cute. The Long house is beautifully done for the ultimate Caribbean vacation. Nick and Mossy took perfect care of us. This place really is an Oasis of tranquility

Great location

Nicely remote, very open house, beautiful pool, comfortable beds. No ice maker in the fridge but our escort to the house told us that so we bought ice. The house does not have air condoning which we knew when we made the reservation but we didn't know we would have extreme heat during our visit which made us very hot and unable to escape the heat. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit.

This property was amazing. Waking up the the view of the bay each morning was priceless. I do wished AC was installed in each bedroom and the road paved. Otherwise the best vacation ever. Family is everything and this property brought us all a bit closer

Serenity!

What an absolutey beautiful home! At first we were taken aback by the location which seemed "way out somewhere" and then no air conditioning but soon fell in love with the home and grounds and the beautiful island breezes that flow throughout the home. We often laughed that to "turn on the A/C" was just to simply open the gorgeous mahogany shutters and let the breeze cool the house - it was so relaxing...what a gift! The house is in a very secluded part of the island away from the hustle and bustle of St. John's but still within 30 minutes to Nelson's Dockyard where we enjoyed an amazing lunch at "The Boom" - highly recommended! Other than that venture we cooked at home as we love to cook. The kitchen is fully equipped - we did have an adventure learning to cook on a charcoal grill which was new to us but fun! The grocery store experience resulted in a bit of "sticker shock" but this is an Island that has to import everything so just be prepared$$$ I cannot say enough about the house - it is appropriately called the "Longhouse" because it IS! LOL - but the heart of it is the beautiful living room, dining room, kitchen and outdoor covered patio overlooking the MAGNIFICENT WARM INFINITY POOL! It is the most amazing pool we have ever enjoyed in 15 years of villa rentals. And to sit and watch the hummingbirds, finches & doves working through the landscape was just a treat! Nick (via messaging) & Mossy (on island) were fabulous hosts and responded to every request/concern!

Family holiday

Beautiful remote location overlooking a lagoon. The property is idylic. Well appointed and has everything you need for a chilled out holiday, comfy beds, outdoor dining, barbecue and lovely pool. Amazing sunsets.Hosts are superb and will take good care of you on arrival etc. Can't recommend enough. You need a car to go places and see the island.

Our happy place

Love the Longhouse. 5th Stay in 7 years and would have been more if not for Covid. The perfect blend of a quiet out of the way tropical oasis but with all the comforts of a great resort and only minutes away from some great beaches and fantastic restaurants. The views are the best, and the breeze off the sea along with a great pool makes the Longhouse a wonderful place to spend a hot lazy day or days. Communication with Nick and Mossy is top notch and the maid Mercedes is a pure delight. Home a week now and can't wait for our next visit.

A wonderful week at the Long House

This is an absolutely lovely home — beautifully appointed and the view is fabulous, Nick and Mossy was very responsive and accommodating. We actually felt like we were at our own private resort, and hope to come back again one day.

Christmas in paradise

We booked The Long House for the festivities this year and spent the most glorious week in this very special house. Made even more perfect with the Christmas tree that Nick so kindly arranged for our stay. The house is spacious and airy, with gorgeous views, spectacular sunsets, and sunrises for the early birds. With a small baby joining us on this trip, we spent much time in the house enjoying the pool, and watching him learn to swim, but the beaches are just a short drive away, half moon was our favorite. Kayaking with turtles on the still waters by the house was another highlight. Nick and Mossy are on hand for any questions and responses are pretty much instant, they are amazing hosts, and Mercedes the house keeper is a gem. We can’t wait to return!

A week of fun

My family of 4 (two under 10) stayed at the property for 7 days and had a wonderful time. As you can imagine, most of our time was spent by the pool, which they thoroughly enjoyed. My husband and I spent the nights gazing at the stars. Mossy met us at the airport and guided us to the home (we rented a car). Mercedes, the housekeeper, is wonderful and very funny. The home is well equipped, with the exception of a few kitchen amenities. The host was very responsive when we had any issues. Overall we enjoyed our time at the Long House.

Beautiful House with an Outstanding View!

Our family stayed at The Long House and Loved it !! The rooms are spread out for peace and quiet. But the main indoor/outdoor living area was perfect for spending time together. We highly recommend it for your vacation stay in Antigua !!

Perfect girls getaway

We came for a relaxing vacation away from everything and this house was the perfect fit. The house was clean and spacious. The view from the pool area was wonderful. We spent all our time by pool watching the birds, the changing sky, laying on the daybed and swimming. The house was well equipped for our needs, the only "issue" was the internet connection is slow but that didn't effect our stay in anyway. It in fact help us turn off even more. We dont generally revisit an island or vacation spot twice but we would definitely come back and highly recommend booking a stay at the Longhouse.

Peaceful Vacation

Even before we got to Antigua, I knew that this vacation was going to be exceptional. The owners communicated with me from the beginning and during our stay. The thoughtfulness that they showed us went beyond anything I’ve experienced. They even had a cell phone available to make local calls. The rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms were so luxurious. The house was so open and located on a hill that we were always feeling the wonderful ocean breeze. The infinity pool was the icing on the cake for us and we enjoyed relaxing in it in the evenings. 10/10 experience and we will definitely do it again.

Wonderful place to stay!

The Long House was a perfect place for my husband and I, traveling from Pennsylvania, and our daughter and friend, traveling from London, to enjoy a week of vacation. We enjoyed the spectacular views, sunrises and sunsets, pool, and house. Mossy met us at the airport, guided us to the house and showed us the food market. Nick was very responsive and accommodating to several special requests. We hope to return!

The most beautiful house in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

From Mossy meeting us at the airport to Mercedes coming in to do laundry and some light cleaning to Nick being very communicative and accommodating… could not have asked for a more beautiful and relaxing vacation! The spaces and views and infinity pool! Great for a large family or multiple families!! Can’t say enough about the Long House! Hope to return again!!

Antigua Retreat

Had a fabulous time. Unwound from the journey to Antigua. We really enjoyed the pool and were able to really relax. Excellent layout, very comfortable decor and amenities. All the bedrooms were spacious with a large walkin closet and a cool bathroom and shower. We bbq’ed and ate, found very little reason to explore although we visited the beach at Long bay and Devils bridge. Nick and Mossy were great, and Mercedes helped us settle in. Iwould come again!

Wonderful home. Peace and quiet

The home is located in a quiet place with incredible ocean views on both sides (pictures do not do justice). The house is high on a hill. It got a nice breeze while we were there so the temperature in the house was perfect. The pool is amazing. The house is extremely well kept and well equipped. Nearest beach is a 10 min drive. The two supermarkets they recommended had everything from fresh produce to gluten free items (recommended to stop in one of them right upon arrival as those are in St John’s). Smaller convenience shop 8 min drive. Host Nick and Mossy were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property.

Total relaxation

It’s fair to say that the photos of the Long House don’t do it justice. It’s a stunningly beautiful home and property that offers total peace and quiet. We were looking for something more private and relaxing than an all inclusive resort, and could not have asked for anything better than our experience at the Long House. We really appreciated being met at the airport by Mossy, and being guided to a grocery store and then to the house. It got our trip off to a great start and was a gentle introduction to driving in Antigua. Nick was always very responsive and replies to our questions were answered quickly. We look forward to returning one day soon.

Nothing short of amazing

Wow! This property is truly amazing! Nick and Annabel are great hosts. Annabel picked us up from the airport, showed us where to pick up our rental car and then took us to a grocery store before heading to the house. She showed us around and left a detailed sheet with important information. We stayed an entire week and fully enjoyed everything about the Long House and Antigua.
