I have never recommended a person not stay at a motel before, but unless the outside temperatures are mild - you will not be comfortable here. The room was unbelievably cold! Even with the space heater they gave us we had wear winter coats and hats inside the room. The bathroom was so cold we did not dare take a shower. This is not an unusual condition for this motel as the HVACs are inadequate for the rooms.

The best was out so they put little space heaters (1500W, I assume) in every room. The overnight low one might was 18F. The shower wasn't cold, but it wasn't hot either most times i used it. Iddly sometimes it was hot enough (but only on the hottest setting.) No room service for a three night stay, but you can bring towels to the front desk to swap your dirty ones...

Here are some candid takeaways: Pros Just a few minutes from everything but well enough pff the beaten path so zero traffic noise, no trains, an older brick motor lodge-so quiet rooms Walking distance to a pancake house next door and convenience store. great towels good television reception/cable cons: Limited hotwater (If you're alone-its enough for a shower) Found out, you can not run the microwave white the window heater/AC is on or you trip a breaker and have to locate someone to turn it back on. Remember that Pancake house I mentioned? You'll need it, The continental bfast here was horrible. White bread, cereal and those tiny mini muffins you buy for your kids' lunch...with four itty bitty ones in a bag: same thing here. The fridge although working: didn't keep cool any of our food and had to be trashed the next day. For an overnight for one or two persons: I'd do it again as it's about half price and its QUIET.

It was a room i expected, but heat wasnt working and cold air was coming in through window AC. They brought a space heater. Breaker tripped twice, 1st time calling in and switched it, 2nd time was 8am and they never turned it back on, so we left.

Wasn’t told until I arrived that the heat had went out. There was an air conditioner unit in the window for “heat”. I was offered a space heater if it was too cold. If I used the space heater I wasn’t allowed to use anything else. If I wanted to use the microwave or hair dryer I had to turn the a/c, heater off. Apparently this has been this way for some time. Was told to keep the bathroom door shut. When I had to go to the bathroom it was freezing cold in there. The room was clean. Not what I expected at all.

When my wife and I arrived on Nov. 27th the heater was barely blowing out hot air. We waited to see if the room would warm up overnight. Woke the next morning the rooom was freezing. I went to the front desk to inform them that our heat was not working, was told he would call maintenance. Went to lunch and shopping to kill time. Got back to the room at 2:30 pm, the heat was still not working. Went back to the front desk. I was told the heat couldn't be fix. I ask for a new room and was told he could give me a space heater. I told him I didn't want a space heater I wanted a new room. He then told me that I would have to wait for the manager to come at 7:00 pm. I said not going to wait that long. Then he ask me was I checking out? I told him yes. I ask would I get a refund? He said again, I would have to wait for rthe manager. I found another hotel to stay down the road.

Our room wasn't clean upon arrival. When we did receive it, the condition was horrible. There was pubic hair in the bathroom and teeth marks on the soap. No towels or shampoo was provided. There was marks on the sheets and the wall paper was peeling. There was no internal lock on the door and the room smelled of smoke. The corners of the room had not been vacuumed in a while and were covered in dirt. Whenever I spoke to the clerk about this, they refused to help, saying I needed to go through the service I booked with and that they would not assist me. When I refused to take that answer, they took my keys back and refused to accommodate us. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Avoid this place like the plague.

The first room we were put in had a busted window only covered with cardboard which was not disclosed when we received keys. Secondly the manager had a nasty attitude when it came to us asking to switch rooms because of it. Next they gave room keys for our room to someone else even tho according to management their system would not allow that to happen. Someone walked into the room while we were there! Also the front lobby smelled like sewage that was not cleaned. Lack of breakfast even tho it was included as well as amenities lacking greatly.

The bed was very hard and sheets were bare minimum . I had to purchase my own blanket from a shop to make the stay more bearable. The staff was nice and the inn/motel was on the older side I liked some of the features like the private screen door and the skylight window in the bathroom .
