Ocean front with balcony. The room was decently clean however literally everything in the room was hanging crooked, the room needed dusted, the toilet paper holder fell off and the toilet wouldn't flush but my husband fixed that. The room and property new new floors and paint.

Worth it! Great price point, great location, a gem

I wasn’t quite sure how this place would be due to the mixed reviews that I had read, but my family was pleasantly surprised by how great of a stay we had. The price point for a beachfront hotel on the boardwalk can’t be beat and is its best selling point. Our room was clean and overall was a comfortable stay. The hotel is rather small and parking garage parking was a bit of a tight fit, however, there is public parking nearby and was easy enough to get to if needed. The one drawback would definitely be the hard-to-open door to the balcony. It was able to be opened but you really had to pull that sucker to get it to move anywhere. We were constantly afraid of breaking it. Also, the shower’s hot water was so hot that it was completely unbearable for more than a few seconds and there was no adjusting it. Overall, we LOVED our stay! It was the perfect location, right in the middle of the excitement, right on the beach, and a price point that couldn’t be beat. Our room was on the 6th floor which was the sweet spot I do believe. We definitely plan to return for future family vacations!

Sea and Sand Hotel – Great Location, Fair Price We recently stayed at the Sea and Sand Hotel in Virginia Beach, and overall, it was a solid experience – especially for the price. Pros: Amazing oceanfront views from every room, each with a patio or balcony. Fantastic location – right in the heart of VA Beach near shops, restaurants, and the boardwalk. Affordable compared to nearby hotels. Room had two TVs, a good work desk with lighting, strong water pressure, and powerful AC. Free WiFi, fast elevator, and stunning views from the 8th-floor pool and deck. Staff was very friendly – seems like a family-run hotel. Cons: The hotel is older and definitely shows its age. Room was mostly clean, but there were small signs of mold in the bathroom and it could use a deeper cleaning. No tub plug, and the pool was cold, low on water, with a broken ladder step. Bottom line: If you know what to expect – an older but well-located property – it’s a great value. Not as bad as some reviews say. We'd stay again for the view, price, and location.

The beach front, short walk to the beach, and the boardwalk were the best. The jets overhead were unpleasantly loud but, can't do anything about that. Staff were very helpful and prompt.

Entry door locks broken on two assigned rooms, floors were wet upon entry to room, sliding glass door would not close, locks on sliding door broken, rolling chair arm fell off with bolt into floor, bed was very hard, only one tv remote for two tvs, no channel guide anywhere. AC worked well, manager was gracious when switching our room due to broken locks on doors.

The place was clean as expected. Services were poor, slow, and often forgotten. Like most hotels it is located at the boradwalk, so it provides easy access to the beach and it is close to many shops. overall, it will never be my first choice, but if nothing else is available, it would use it again because I know what I am getting into.

Both Tv was broke, slider door was broken, mold all over, smelled horrible, no ice, no coffee, vending machines where broken and empty, pool was nasty and half full, shower was only scrollding hot not cold water so couldn’t take a shower, parking was a joke, coffee pot in room they offered was still full from last tenants and was moldy and smelled, no remotes for either tv, shades didn’t work, fridge didn’t work and lights in room only half worked. Only good thing was the view and super close to everything but other then that it was all a joke and definitely not worth 200 a night by any means

This place was an absolute mess of a property. The women at the front desk was poorly spoken. They preach that they will try to fix any issues that come about however my boyfriend and I’s room was dirty, the shower knob broke off, the women at the front checked someone else into our room. My boyfriend and I were both in towels and complete strangers walked into our room claiming that we weren’t supposed to be there. Our balcony didn’t lock, the walls were dirty, I could go on and on. The area around the hotel wasn’t bad it was very clean however the rooms were just god awful.
