The only reason I gave it an overall 4 stars is because our room was directly under the Isle of Capri restaurant. So everyday from 2-10pm, you would hear constant banging and noises. Very annoying when you are trying to sleep. When you book, msje sure to request not to be under the restaurant. I will remember from now on. Also it was disappointing the back pool was not open, only the front oneby the ocean.

I stayed at this hotel with my family and it was great along with the good customer service. The hotel room was very clean. Housekeeping was very attentive too. Parking was easy. The whale restaurant is good but they are really slow. Plenty of things to do with the kids. The location is within walking distance to lots of places. The oceanfront room is so worth the view.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Its location is a short distance from beach. Our room was in a convenient location. The breakfast buffet and lunch the Square Whale was delicious. The pools were awesome. We were disappointed with the maintenance of our room. We had to request more towels, toilet paper, and the bathroom soaps were never replaced. We requested a full service cleaning halfway through our stay. All we could see was the bedsheets were changed. The floor was never vacuumed and bathroom never cleaned. Wash clothes were never replaced. Instead we had 5 hand towels added each day. On our last night, maintenance arrived at our door to work on an outlet just as my children were falling asleep. There was no notice given by the front desk. Great place but need to work on housekeeping.

The staff at the Holiday Inn were very responsive and professional. The staff were helpful in checking us in early. While the hotel was a little old/dated, the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was hard on my back. There was no air in the hallways making it hot there. They had a room for kids with games and toys and a movie theater room with Disney Plus movies showing which was a really nice perk for families. This was not advertised so I thought I'd mention it. The beach was right out back. There was a 7-11 across the street. The property has 3 pool areas which is why we chose it. The indoor pool was similar to a lazy river and had a hot tub. There was a large pool which faced the beach. Then there was a back pool area with two pools. One had two slides in a mountain and the other was like a path. Unfortunately, the pools and pool areas were dirty. The other guests were not respectful of the property. PLEASE hire official pool cleaners and have someone clean the pools at the end of the day or early in the morning. This would make the hotel great! The price was doable. We enjoyed our stay.

My son loved this hotel for the pools and the restaurant. Absolutely wonderful for kids with the pool options. Parking is super easy across the street. I do wish they provided coffee in the lobby. Our room itself was clean and spacious except for the shower had pink mold and the shower door was falling off. The patio also wasn’t in the greatest condition but had an awesome view. I would stay here again though because of the pools. Also, the elevators are horrible so will be asking for lower floor next time.

Our stay was very nice. I recommend to get the breakfast package because it was a good breakfast. Our room was clean but the rug around the A/C unit was soaked the entire time we were there. They have a nice parking ramp but nobody monitors to make sure people don't park there for the beach so I had issues finding a spot when I got back from being out for the day. They have 3 pools and a really cool one for kids with waterslides, they weren't very clean tho, had algae around the edges and lots of peoples hair in the water. The elevators are awful, small and slow, the doors close really fast and hit me a couple times. When we went to leave all of the luggage carts were taken, I waited for one for about a half hour before I decided to just carry it all down to the car in a bunch of trips. I'm just pointing out all of the things that could be fixed and improved on, overall we did enjoy our stay, the staff was very friendly and the room was nice, we had a balcony that faced the ocean. My son loved the one pool with the waterslides. I would go back because I feel like every place has issues and these weren't major ones.

Returning guests, we tried a larger room this year, and we're still disappointed. Rooms are small/tight, they have a lot of wear and tear. The staff are great and the pools are a ton of fun for families. The pools are why we gave this hotel a second try. But that won't be enough for us to come back again. AC was loud and we had a puddle of water in the room. An engineer came to look at it and soak up the water, but that was it. Still loud and wet floor. Staff did well keeping the grounds, halls and property clean.

Unfortunately, our stay was filled with disappointment. This place has so much potential, however, the elevators were broken, so our option was to carry our luggage and two kids, wagon and all of our stuff up and down 4 flights of stairs every day. We chose this resort because they had laundry rooms on the property, because it was kid friendly, and because of the indoor pools, and the onsite parking. With little kids, those are key amenities. Every machine was out of order in the laundry room. We were told they were fixed and when I tried to wash my clothes, all it did was fill up with water. I had to get maintenance to come, they had no clue what to do. I ended up having to pull the soaking wet and soapy clothes out and bag them up the carry home soaking wet. When the elevators were working, they were very dangerous and closing too fast. I saw several people get hit by the doors, including myself and my husband. The doors closed so fast one time that a 3 year old little girl was stuck in the elevator because it closed on her before they could all exit. The parents were terrified. The parking deck was always full and we’d have to sit and wait until someone would leave in order to find parking. One day I was there for 45 mins trying to find parking. The pools! The pools were amazing, if they were open. If it rained, they closed both outdoor and indoor pools. No one told us that the indoor pool closed when it rained, as we assumed this would be what we’d do if it rained.
