Upon arriving into our room you could smell the room from the hallway my wife immediately commented that their was a leak or plumbing problem I went downstairs and informed the manager we needed a different room that my wife has a respiratory condition and is on oxygen and cannot stay in this room the manager said they were sold out and couldn’t get us a different room that she would send the maintenance man up with a air purifier so we waited for him he informed us they had severe rains and several units were water damaged and this was one of the rooms I told him we can’t stay in this room he said he would also tell the manager so we packed our stuff up and went back to the manager who now somehow found another room after 3 hours of arguing our case we got our new room the maintenance man came and told us he was cleaning our wet carpet in the other room and the manager would have us go back there the next day I informed him that we would not be going back to the old room after that conversation there was no follow up from anyone at Hilton or management I’m very upset with the way this was handled they knew they had a flooded room yet still were putting guest in there this is not what I’m used to for a Hilton hotel we always choose Hilton but not again after this experience

The hotel was nice and clean and had everything we would need, however the parking garage was across the street and the elevator was broke 4 days of the 5 we stayed there and we left each day as we were there for a family wedding and events that week and climbing up and down the stairs each night was awful and my 80 year old mother couldnt do it.

Terrible parking garage and disappointing room.

Good: Location is very nice. Pool is excellent. We had a wonderful time at the beach and the pool. Disappoints: There are some obvious scratches on the wall and the cabinets. A empty conditioner bottle on the table. We thought that was forgotten by the housekeeper. A hair was in the sink. The room is smaller than expected. The elevator of the parking garage didn’t work. It’s very inconvenient. The cleanliness of the parking garage is not good. Smell terrible.

The Hotel was great, the weather not so much! We live near Pittsburgh PA, and all week it's been 85 and sunny. We get to VA beach (my first visit since 1978) and it's a tropical storm! High winds and temperatures in the low to mid 60's. Hopefully we'll have better luck next time.
