Kitchen was nicely stocked with all needed items to cook your own meals. Beautiful gas fireplace in main living room. Bedrooms spacious and beds very comfortable bathrooms had so many amenities included. Very clean and cozy. There were 6 adults from Michigan and Missouri that reunited for some laughs and games. Perfect setting for this adventure, and would be perfect for families with young children. Jason was excellent with communication. Always a quick response We would absolutely stay here again! Perfect location for the nearby State Parks - Matthiesen and Starved Rock

I brought my family out to hike trails in Starved Rock during spring break, and this rental was perfect. It's located very close to the sites, and the host was excellent. Clean, comfortable, and uncomplicated. We will return!

This cabin was super cozy and comfortable, and it met our needs. We enjoyed family time in the living area, watching movies, talking, and playing games. I'd definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to get away and enjoy some quiet time.

This was a breeze! Communication was easy. The place looked even better in person than the pictures. We really enjoyed the fireplace and all the coffee options. It was a quick 5 minute drive to both local state parks, so this is the perfect place if you are looking to be close to nature. And check out was easy, which we appreciated!

Lots of attention to detail - wine fridge, 2 pak n plays for toddlers, great coffee setup, lots of comp toiletries, extra towels and extra blankets. We needed a big space and we got one that was well planned.

Stayed here with two other couples for my husband’s 60th. It was perfect. Lots of room & very spacious kitchen for our “family dinner” that we cooked. Lots of small touches make this rental extra special like spices, ear plugs by the bed, bath salts for the tubs, ect… Out of all of our rentals this has been our favorite.

Plenty of space for 9 women who enjoyed the cabin and the witches walk in Utica. Plenty of bathrooms for all of us to get all “witched up”. Loved all the kitchen amenities and the big dining room tables. We did all our own food and played games at the large table. Loved that we could have multiple cars as people were coming from different places and at different times.

The cabin is clean and has anything you need for cooking and relaxing with your family or friends. It’s close to Starved Rock park - the St. Louis Canyon trailhead is literally right across the street! Bathrooms had extras like makeup removal towelettes, flossers, & disposable hand towels. I would definitely rent again with a group

Even with the abundance of photos that are posted on the listing, this cabin still offered pleasant surprises and whimsy. The bird watching that you can partake in from the rear deck…what?!! A group of turkeys even paid us a visit!!!!The cabin is so well appointed…we overshopped. You truly only need to bring the food that you want to eat. The coffee and tea selections had something for everyone and I was with 3 senior women who have very particular tastes! Each bedroom is so well laid out that you’ll have trouble choosing which one is most ideal. The primary bedroom and the larger bedroom both have deep soaking jacuzzis. The TV in front of the tub spaces…great touch. The streaming and cable was not difficult to operate. The stay was completely pleasant and the locals were very kind and helpful. You can walk to starved rock from here!

A wonderful stay!

We were so pleasantly surprised by the accommodations in this home. The owner clearly went above and beyond to make sure all needs were met. Whether it was games for the kids, extra blankets for the beds, toiletries that may be needed in a plethora of coffee accessories for the coffee lovers like ourselves. Owner was very responsive when we could not figure out the Internet situation and would reply to messages immediately. Would definitely stay there again and hoping to book in the near future!

Starved Rock Getaway

Our party was super happy with the choice we make to stay here as the location couldn't be any better with how close this is to the state parks/Bars etc in Utica...and everything was incredibly clean and Jay's communication was spot on.Highly recommend!
