* Pontoon Boat available for rent upon request & subject to availability. A Pontoon Rental Agreement will need to be physically signed, and personal information ( example: home/mailing address, driver's license, etc.) will need to be provided.

Outdoor equipment/furnishings are stored away from late October/November until May (including BBQ).

For security purposes, there are cameras outside the front & back.

Note: On occasions, the lake is sprayed to maintain the integrity of the water for swimmer's itch/weed control. There is a 24-hour no-swim rule after spraying. The spraying of the lake dates is unknown & out of our control.

The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can expect to find free WiFi and a Smart TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

This is our second year staying at this amazing home. We love the house and number of beds. Nine of us stayed. Excellent for us. Great hot tub. Love the sand on the beach, the water, water toys. We rented the pontoon as well. Our grandchildren absolutely loved everything! And said it was one of our best vacations together.

Son's Wedding

Beautiful house and location. It was perfect for grandchildren to run off energy. Parents and grandparents enjoyed a little downtime upstairs while grandchildren had playtime downstairs. We loved it.

Just Beachy was better than expectedd

We couldn't have been more happy with our stay. Everything lived up to the photos and descriptions and MORE. The beach was great, location was so nice, the house was so much cleaner and nicer than expected. When you rent or go to a "cottage", you expect a little bit older of a house with creaks, maybe old sinks and restrooms, dated furniture and all hand me down equipment in the house... that is NOT what this place is at all. It feels completely redone inside. The whole main floor looks and feels completely remodeled and up to date. the basement also feels that way but has a comforting cottage feel to it, without being old and dated at all. The location is great. The lake was the most underused lake I'd ever seen. The water was barely ever choppy and was perfect for the little ones to play in as well as the older grandparents to take a comfortable pontoon boat ride. I could go on and on about the cottage, beach, lake, and house and how great of a choice this was. The biggest thing that made a difference to me was the amenities. I bought so many things to take with us and needed almost none of it. The kitchen had so many nice, usable dishes and cooking supplies/utensils. Little things like a beach towel drying rack outside, a nice rack system to help take off the hot tub cover, blow up toys, kayaks, peddle boat, plenty of lighting, towels, bedding, board games.. just obviously a pro putting this all together. We had 0 problems and loved our time there. Thank you

Wonderful stay!

We had a phenomenal week with extended family. Property is very clean and well stocked. Communication with host was superb. We enjoyed the clean lake and beach toys every day, including fishing, kayaking and boating. Location is ideal to Michigan Adventure, Lewis Animsl Farm, Muskegon and other lakeshore cities. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Friend retreat

Family Retreat

From the moment we arrived it was like they had thought of everything!!! it was beautiful and the set up for 4 under 3 was great. We had a blast playing the sand and water with the kids. And at night enjoyed watching the stars and looking out at the lake from the hot tub. It was a great cabin , a great retreat, and much needed time by the lake. When there was any issues Kathy was very responsive and we had a phenomenal time. The place was so clean and every detail was thought of whether it was a rainy day or one that was bright and sunny fit for the beach.

Wonderful, relaxing vacation

We rent from VRBO every year, and I think this house was the cleanest we have been to! It was the perfect setting, right on the water with a Sandy beach. 10 of us fit comfortably. We spent most of the days playing in the water with the pontoon boat, kayaks, paddle boards, fished off the dock! Great week! So close to Michigan Adventure, we will be back!

Absolutely perfect

This house is amazing—has absolutely everything you need and the beach is everything you could want. We had kids from 2 to 10 in the house and they loved it all—the two year old could walk almost 20 feet out without concern as it’s very shallow. 10/10 and will for sure be back.

Beautiful stay on the lake

Lovely home with beautiful lake views. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking/paddle boarding, and just generally being outdoors. The house is well maintained and equipped, and there’s a pontoon available for rental as well (which we enjoyed).

Very nice!

House was clean & comfortable, beautiful view & nice beach, we used the fire pit & paddle boat & boards. Kids loved playing in the sand & water, adults enjoyed the hot tub. Had pretty much everything we needed, only complaint is that we had to get a propane tank for the grill because both were empty, I realize it states this in the welcome packet & we will be reimbursed for the cost but I think the owner should take care of this & not the guests. Other than that we had a great time & I would recommend.

Awesome property!

I have stayed at quite a few cottage rentals and this house was clean, very well stocked, and looked like it did in the photos! Check in was super easy. The beach/lake area was perfect for the little kids and the older kids spent MANY hours on the kayaks and paddle boards. It was hot the week we were there and very grateful for the AC that worked perfectly. We are planning to come back next year!

Great relaxing family vacation

Great place to stay with a family! Because the lake is not huge or deep it is the perfect temperature and stays shallow for a bit... Great for kids. The kids loved using the paddle boat and kayaks to go to the island and explore! Lots of space to spread out even with 10 of us there! Great fishing. Would definitely recommend!

Great beach, charming house, beautiful lake!

Great one week getaway. Best beach right outside your backdoor and a sparkling lake. Super clean house that was well stocked with all necessary items. Very attentive host when needed.
