disappointing yet still thankful!

Stayed 3 nights. Had to ask for room change because of unbearable odor. Moved to executive floor but found roaches in room and business center. In the last morning morning water clogged in the bathroom. Having said that, the staffers were mostly very courteous and friendly. Learn that the hotel will be knocked Down on November 1st, 2019 for rebuilding to reappear Hyatt Centric location in 2024. I am sure it will shine like a star again but also become very expensive too because of its location.

The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of western and Chiness food to choose from. However the housekeeping could really be improved. Mold was very visible in bathroom, air smells moldy, there were contact lenses , hair and used bath gel from the previous customers in the bathroom when we arrived. Then the tub had slow drain and my husband stood in the water for a while in order to clean his feet when the water wouldn't go down. The floor was not very clean and wall/furniture were scratched up with dents. I stayed in another Fullerton before and it had similar problems. I wished the management could train the housekeeping team and get the maintenance crew to work so it could attract more customers.

It is the oldest hotel of the Fullerton group in Taipei and the general impression is not updated with stinks on sofa. Luckily we were upgraded to executive suite and the general cleanliness and comfort ability is much improved.

Room was smoky, wallpaper was coming off, dark stains on walls and furniture. Overall very old and many years since last renovation of the room. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable overall.

Great location but hotel needs remodel

I stay few nights here in the hotel. The first visit was ok but just feel the hotel has smell and needs remodel. After few days, I came back to stay for another 2 nights, the room has strong smell, the living room cealing has water stain. Even worse, the drain hole of the shower is stuck. I complained and the staff change another room for me. It was then OK. The room is spacious but the hotel condition is old and needs remodel. The location is convenient and walking distance to Subway station.

1st room bathroom has stain, dirty window and smell then changed to another room with 2 bed were broken and blood stain on the wall. the house keeper lady was rude. Finally upgrade to the Suite. Room is okay but not quite clean but away more clean than other 2. Front desk staff and night manager were very friendly.
