The description room size of this hotel is smaller that it advertised so they have to fix it. The location of the hotel is pretty good though

in residential area, more convinience, a little walk distance to MRT

Good hotel with great location! The cost is reasonable. Although some switch bottoms are filthy, they are not too big of the deals.

They didn't have the rooms we request, very disappointed. The room is tiny, different from the room we had last year and the year before

The room was very tiny and was facing the back. It was quite dark and depressing. Unless you get a room facing south, it is not a pleasant place. As soon as I entered the room I felt very cheated. It was so different from the photos they put on the website. For the same price, I could have gotten a much better room. Comparing three different countries, this room was the worst. In Seoul, Shanghai or Beijing, I got the twice larger, bright room with open view. Taipei certainly cannot be so much more expensive than the other cities. This hotel is for the quality.

unlike the photo, the room was tiny and facing ugly backside of the building across, a depressing" view. it is over priced for the size of the room. in Seoul, I had a twice larger space in a very good location for lower price. the photo is very misleading. the air conditioning control did not work and it was so cold. when I complained, they said I could ware more clothes! eventually, they fixed it, but it was a nuisance.

We stayed at a condo for about 7 nights prior to moving over here for 2 more nights and we loved the change. The hotel is located on a smaller street/kind of an alley. Not dififcult to find. Located in an area where it didn't seem to have much shopping/restaurants but it suited our stay. We asked the concierge for a dinner suggestion nearby and he directed us to Chef Hung just a block away and it was a very solid/yummy meal for about US$12.00 for two. We also asked if they had any recommendations for nearby massage places and their recommendation was fantastic. We both super enjoyed our one-hour massages (US$40.00 or so each after tip#. The hotel itself was basic #one small gym, no pool, a business center# but it was very contemporary and lovely. The hotel staff were always exceedingly polite and tried very hard to please at all times. We had complimentary breakfast vouchers and breakfast was fantastic! The room itself was clean, neat and quite high-tech. Loved all of the functions and the bathroom #we stayed in one of the rooms facing the street) featured a huge jacuzzi tub, amazing shower + crazy fancy toilet. :) We would definitely recommend this hotel! All great things!!! :)

The hotel overall is a great place. Location is okay, about 10 minutes from the nearest MRT. Staff is super, treat you well. Room is extremely clean and come with things you can imagine. Breakfast is great also. Anyway, highly recommended for anyone want to come to Taipei.

Principally good experience within the standard of this type of hotel. No dedicated non-smoking rooms and we had to change room to get best possible choice. Breakfast pretty Asia style, no western standard. Polite staff.

Showed up at the hotel and was immediately impressed with the quality of room fixtures--special lighting for the jacuzzi, automatic blinds, shower appliance, Japanese-style smart toilet, swiveling flat-screen tv. Liked the breakfast, friendly front-desk staff, laundry room, and stylish lobby. Neighborhood is nondescript on main streets, not walkable to tourist attractions, but has vibrant side streets.

Love the cleanliness of the room and the jacuzzi with tv in the bathroom.

Hotel was phenomenal

The Roumei Beauty Hotel was fantastic. The emphasis is on service. Spotlessly clean, with a luxurious bathroom, on demand movies, free internet, excellent breakfast, and free transport to selected MRT stations. The surrounding area has lots of little lanes to explore with many little restaurants, bakeries and other food stalls. It is about a 15 minute walk to a MRT station, but there are lots of taxis nearby.
