Nice place..I stayed in the King deluxe room and it was very spacious, well lit, and modern. The staff is very friendly and will go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need.
We stayed at the FX Hotel for three nights during our first trip to Taipei. Staff were super-friendly and accommodating. Property is very central, and just a two, three minute walk away from the subway, so all sites were easy to reach. We just needed a bed to sleep and rest, we did not use any amenities, so this hotel was perfect for us. We would use it again for our next Taiwan visit.
The location is convenient to go around the city, close to the subway.
Love that they have a complementary laundry room with two washers and dryers for us to use. They even provided little packets of detergents.
Friendly staffs and convenient location at two metro lines.
***The last time I was at this hotel, I thought the lobby was inadequate. Because the hotel is in an office building. The rooms were on the top floors, disconnected from the lobby. *** This time, the hotel doesn’t have a lobby at all. They have a make-shift table in the hallway of the 15th floor. It is annoying to be in a hotel with no lobby. If you forgot your key late at night, you need to get to the lobby to get a key. You can’t get to the lobby without using the key in the elevator. The guard might not be at the door and you might not know to look for a guard. *** Be careful, you can’t check in at night even if you have a room. *** The room has no drawers but the shower is great. No wash-cloth. There is a refrigerator hidden under the desk which you might not even discover. There is good closet space with a safe inside. *** If you get thirsty, finding a bottle of water is no easy task in this hotel. *** Nanjing Fuxing is the closest MRT. Use Exit 1 to get out. The tall building to your left, about half block away, on your side of the road is the Westin. Fx is infront of the the Westin. *** Exit 2 is on other side of the road. If you face Exit 2, about 500 ft to your left is a Starbucks at the end of the block. *** Getting to the hotel form Taoyuan Airport is convenient. Evergreen city shuttle Stop 4. The luggage would need to rolled for two blocks, though.
As of May of 2018, the hotel has some “contract “ dispute with the first floor restaurant which was used as breakfast place in the past! No idea about who is right or wrong! But the restaurant now is playing funeral style music chanting 24/7! It created a very VERY uncomfortable environment for anyone to enjoy a trip, and yet hotel purposely not informing the guest
