The staff is cheerful and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Rooms are clean and modern. Love the rain shower. Speaking of rain, you can borrow umbrellas at the front desk which is very convenient so you don't need to pack one. I really appreciate the breakfast variety and the friendly staff in the breakfast room. I would have liked coffee in the room too but only tea is available. The location is convenient for transportation, shopping, restaurants, and is very walkable and safe. I would definitely stay here again!

When you entered the hotel, the lobby and all amenities are old and out dated as if you just entered a 1980s hotel. The breakfast area is also out dated like one of those 1960s diner along the hwy. However, once you get to your floor, it dramatically changed the situation. The hallways are classy, clean. They might have Reno the hotel rooms.

One of my worst hotel stay in Asia

Of all the hotels i stay at in Asia, this hotel made it to the worst list. This hotel does not provide any luggage assistance, elevator super slow, breakfast is mediocre at best and the service personnel at the breakfast acted like the food is gourmet constantly looking out to see if people are stealing food. One lady ran after and shouted at my son and stopped him from taking a bao and porridge to his wife whom wasn’t feeling well. Towels in the room is very old and worn out. Did not provide a face cloth. No essentials provided except a bottle of hand soap and shampoo. How they’re able to call themself a 4 star hotel is beyond me. The only nice thing about the hotel is the reception staff. Helpful or at least they try to help to answer questions.

This review is based on the value of the property for the price we paid (~$3600NTD/night on avg) Firstly, we booked an accessibility/king bed room in the 11th floor. The room was very small, basically the door opens and the bed is right in front, but it was liveable. The room included a humble sized closet, mini fridge, small desk, and tv. The washroom, however, was about the same size as the room itself. We had two strollers that took up the entire "empty" space that was available between the entryway and desk. In sum, a small room but it worked. The washroom is the no divider style, unless you use the bathtub which we did not want to use. The sink does not come with a vanity, so it was just a sink and no countertop space for anything else. Less functional, but still we made it work. Toilet, sink, and shower all worked just fine. However, the ventilation is extremely poor. Basically everything we hung in the washroom dried poorly. The bed was comfortable, HOWEVER, I do suspect bed bugs because we (2 adults 2 toddlers) all had small red bites that don't look or itch the same way as mosquito bites. This is my biggest concern and reflected in my rating. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast over our 15 night stay. Food was fresh and tasty. Although, on the last few days the daily veggies went from cabbage to bean sprouts. The staff was friendly, hardworking, and there to deliver a great service every single day. We miss them!
