This hotel is has a small pool & rents the space to a swimming instructor, who acted as if my kids were trespassing at her private pool. Had I known, I would not have booked this hotel as it took away from our fun. The room had wires coming out of the wall in two separate spaces, there was hair in the bathroom when I arrived, the bathroom & room door locks were broken. The staff outside of the front desk staff was not friendly. However, as I stood at the front desk I heard an employee bragging about upselling a customer, & stating that she wished she convinced them to spend even more. Just unbelievable! My room was changed and I was promised points w/in 24 hours. No points! I called & the once friendly front desk staff seemed annoyed.

This is our 8th or 9th stay with you as we have family in Old Greenwich. The renovations are welcomed and it's nice to have dining once again at the hotel. There is not enough staff at the restaurant/bar area though. We had to add our drinks at the reception desk because no one came to bring us our check on the evening of 6/27/25. Also the back entrance from the parking area needs to be kept swept and clean.

Hyatt OG continues to be a fine hotel. Staff and facility are top notch. I’ve been numerous times over the years since they opened and an extra special place to return “home” and visit family!👍
