Room was very clean and presentable. The room had a great view. Temperature was easy to adjust to one's preference,

We are early risers. Coffee shop didn't open until 7am on Sunday and 6:30am on Monday.

Good hotel about 10 years ago, but still very nice and comfortable in spite of needing updating. Was great value for the money.

The room was nice and roomy. The bed comfortable and the location is near the Mall. The staff is very friendly. Enjoyed the stay.

you can get the room for a decent price but the room is all you get.It cost $18 dollars a night to park in there parking garage wich was not manned when I left so it took me 20min to get out stuck behind a automatic gate. They say they have breakfast and they do for $13 per person.had 4 people staying in the room but only 2 bath towels.went to desk to get towels but they dont have towels down there.the girl at the desk was very nice and called to have a housekeeper bring up more towels.after 15 min and still no towels back to the deskthe girl at the desk appologized and called again.15 minutes later towels showed up but already wiped off with a washcloth. this hotel is no bargain

The room was clean and neat. It worked for us! No complaints.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. The room where my wife and I stayed, which was on the 11th floor, was were very clean, along with the bathroom. The carpets on the hallway and in the room seemed new. The hotel is easy to access from route 95, yet it is located within walking distance from the civic center, which is packed with restaurants and has civic amenities.

Upon arrival in this hotel, we were allowed to park before checking in, as represented, but charged for it, which was not made clear! This reservation was a change from an earlier reservation for a Stamford Hotel that costs $139.99 inclusive of taxes, fees, breakfast, and parking that was supposed to be equal to or lower in cost in an attempt to get a little closer to the train station and save a little money. Instead, the $139.99 here was not inclusive of taxes, and the parking was added on top of that, resulting in a total cost of $174.99. If we would have had breakfast there, it would have been $60.00 more than that. What did we get for that extra money? Extra Service and Comfort? Even what was supposed to be there at a minimum? No. We, the four visitors who had reinterated to the booking representative several times, expecially and finally right before agreeing to the room purchase, that we needed two double beds, arrived to a room saved for us with one king bed. The clerk initially couldn't find two double beds for us and indicated this was because we booked through who we booked through. Upon saying to the clerk do you really have four guests all sleep in one king bed? She said that extra beds could be rolled in, which means that they weren't there already waiting for us and, according to hotel policy, could result in additional charges. Finally, they found us a room with two double beds (it took the help of a second staff, but again, it was not set up for four people there were not enough towels). Despite calling for them, calling to check on them, offering to get them myself, and practically crying on the phone to a staff person that I had walked around NYC all day and really wanted to take a shower and go to bed, it took over one half hour to get a towel to take a shower and go to bed. By that time, I was aggravated by all this and did not sleep well. I need to be clear that the staff I interacted with were all very polite and professional and that I don't blame the person delivering the towels, the person who set up the room, or most I interacted with that night or the next day, though I was upset that in the cue of housekeeping deliveries to rooms, my delivery was not moved ahead of people who called for items that night until I practically cried because I had made my request for a room set up for four people on Thursday. Why wasn't a room set up for four? And, why did I pay extra when a different hotel would have cost less initially, had towels and free parking, and even have thrown in free breakfast?

The staff has been super nice and helpful. Roomservice worked perfectly and they even have a free shuttle that takes you anywhere you want. All in all I'd recommend this hotel. You're super fast in nyc aswell

seriously affects road trip time--simple quick on-off highway . vallet is the qickest ever seen buffet is simple and to the point bar is accomodating maid staff is friendly

The hotel is well located, has a nice swimming pool, but the room needs renovation. Drawers show years of use. I checked in at night and got out for dinner right away with my wife so we only realized how disgusting was the toilet bowl too late to complain. Then I wanted to brew some coffee and to my surprise, the water container was dirty with sticky matter. At the front desk I was offer to waive the parking fee. I said no thanks, a bad memory will not be erased by saving a couple of bucks.

Never like a hotel that charges for morning coffee. Also website said contental breakfast, where was that do they charge for that too. Pool area was beat up. Hotel had an old feeling.

The overall experience at the hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the food was great.

The hotel is so so! Location is great for Stamford... Rooms are smelly!

i was staying in this hotel more than one year every 2-3 weeks. Perfect location, very helpful staff. like everything there.

sheets were so rough i could not sleep, pool area shabby, no hot tub - ver disappointed bout that

It was a quick trip but the price was the best and the simplicity of the reservation is why we went there. No complaints - very pleasant.

we only stayed one night and didnt get to use any of the hotel's amenities like the spa, restaurants or even the shuttle but overall it was a pleasant stay - we were in a standard room with a king bed and the mattress was definitely NOT quality (lumpy and caved in in the middle) but for one night, wasnt worth trying to change rooms. also, the view isnt all too exciting. the floor to ceiling windows on one wall are cool but youre seeing mostly just highway and some buildings BUT theres not much else to see in that area anyway haha

The experience was great. Our tv did not work but they gave us a break on the cost as a result. Only suggestion have coffee available on the weekend earlier than 7:00 am. We needed to leave before that. Thanks!!
