The staff at this hotel are always so friendly and helpful. The location isn't great for walking around, but it is super convenient to be right off the highway if you're just looking for a basic room to sleep in. Property is older, undergoing a renovation, but very clean.

Let me start off with very clean room and very friendly staff. Parking a plus felt safe all the time. The room had no fancy frills, but a super comfortable bed. Nothing to complain about there. A double plus having Stamford diner right there a walk away. Prices are pricey, but good food and convenient.. Overall, a very pleasant stay for a week.

What's the old phrase? " Polish a turd, it's still a turd"? A/c in the 1st room didn't work; old 1980s furniture; smelled musty; charged a parking fee for an open parking lot with an independent restaurant in front of the hotel; 1 of 2 elevators worked. They are renovating the property, but it's still dated. They should have let the town use it as a building fire exercise and burnt it to the ground, and started over. Never again
