Disappointed to see there's no longer a slide to the pool & water is only 3" 6. Boring for older children. When I took the hideaway bed out of the couch there was some food sticking to the cushions & popcorn on top of the mattress cover. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.

App said I was reserving a 2 Queen suite. It said it on all of my confirmations also. The hotel had it as a single bed suite. Ended up getting stuck with a 2 Queen regular room. The front desk person seemed a bit lost, she kept saying they have a new system and couldnt get the key cards to activate for the first room that was the wrong room and then struggled for 20min trying to place me in a 2 bed room and then struggled again with the key cards. The parking was easy but the lot was a terrible ice rink... Glare ice, put some sand down or something. Everything in the room was beat up furniture was beat up, walls were beat up, big hole where the shower head comes out of the wall. At this price point I guess I just thought the room would be in a little better shape. The shower faucet squealed like a fire alarm the entire shower? Basically the hotel needs to step up their game and do some sorting stuff out. Was it my worst hotel experience... Absolutely not. The breakfast staff were on top of restocking and everything was prepared pretty well. Was it the worst at this price point?? It very well may be. I have stayed at many hotels that were much cheaper that were significantly better than this.

This hotel is fantastic. We’ve stayed once before and loved the playground and pool. We knew we wanted to come back. Requested a ground floor room and got one right next to the pool and playground. Breakfast was great and staff was so friendly. We will be back.

The quality of breakfast was better than many hotels in this price range -- I think this is because the employees working while I was there were exceptional. There are 2 coffee machines (incl. decaf) that quickly fresh grind and brew each cup and there is real half-n-half.

Good place to stay with family. Staff was helpful and friendly. However , the hot tub was down for routine maintenance which was unfortunate as that was a big reason we chose to stay here. IMO it'd make more sense to do maintenance during a week day rather than on the weekend. Pool area and kids play place area was very dimly lit making it hard for the kids to navigate. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. Overall good experience that could have been better with some minor details.

We booked through Expedia. We arrived at Holiday Inn Express, Brandon SD at 8pm and looked forward to using the hot tub. Front desk didn't let us know that was not operable. We checked into our room went down to the pool and there's a note on the door to pool. Like the front desk couldn't let us know. That is a part of our room rental. We got taken. Why don't the hotels and Expedia communicate that Goodness I know many IT people that say that could absolutely be done. Wow FYI guess guests need to check ahead of time that you get what you pay for. Really shouldn't have to
