The room was surprisingly underwhelming. For a supposed posh resort, the room was not as expected. The window in the room was unable to be opened as it had no screen and the sash appeared broken. The ac had to be turned on as a result and it roared the whole night. Not much sleep was attained. The staff were welcoming. But the stay was very disappointing. Will not stay there again.

We looked forward to returning to this hotel for the third time in grand part looking forward to sitting in front of the two large fireplaces in the lobby in the evening. They were not working. When we arrived the computer wasn’t working and we had to wait to check in. The first day our room wasn't on the list to clean. When we returned, the room was as we had left it. This was rectified. Also the amount collected at hotel was listed as $96 for resort fee and they charged $100 to my card. The hotel in general was not what it used to be. That was disappointing.

Quaint but still has that run down feel. Bath fitters in the tub are sometimes spongy when you stand in the shower. The showerhead was low for me and I’m 5.9! But the beds were comfortable

As I mentioned in my earlier check-in review, they advertise for 11-4pm checkin but if you arrive earlier than 4pm you have to pay $25 or $50 in order to check in earlier!That is ridiculous! Plus their resort fee was $30 per day and it wasn’t worth what you get. Their breakfast offers were only an overpriced buffet and no regular breakfast offerings, even though they had menus displayed to lead you to believe you had another option. They really need more to offer their clients. I will never stay there again! Having stayed in the past, it was truly disappointing.
