Property needs some work. Rooms are old, bathrooms are small. Setting is great and could be a gem, but someone needs to put $25mm into this for rehab.

This is a hotel that needs a massive rehab and is trying to live off its reputation as a "grand dame" hotel. The bathrooms need a major overhaul and the windows need to be replaced to being it into the twenty first century. The hot water system failed the night we stayed there and we had brown water in the shower the next morning. It's a beautiful spot in the park but it needs an overhaul.

Love this place so much!!!

Lovely old historic hotel with all the necessary updates Staff very friendly and helpful Quiet and peaceful Beautiful grounds Didnt like that there was no information in the room about the hotels amenities such as dining hours, exercise room information, maps of the grounds, using the shuttle, scheduling Spa treatments, etc If you asked at the desk you could get this information-or read a sign on a table in the lobby- Only because we have visited there before did we know to inquire about such things Overall our experience was delightful

Property was beautiful and Tranquill. Golf Course and bike riding convenient . When you need the battery recharged the location is perfect. Downsides :the pool was so crowded on July 4th we we’re unable to sit anywhere. The restaurants menu was very poor . Get a consultant !

Beautiful,classic resort, wonderful grounds!

.

everything was very good only one thing bad in the room the air conditioner is so loud that it is impossible to sleep at night This must be fixed

Room smelled like smoke

We thought the property was charming and beautiful. It was right in the park so we rented bikes from the hotel and went to see the springs then walked right to SPAC for the concert we were seeing that night. Christian at the front was so accommodating, helpful and personable. We will definitely stay here again when we visit next!

Loved the property, reminds me of a smaller Omni Homestead in Va. Stephanie at the front desk set the tone with her service. Mistake in the booking, solved. Stayed an extra day.
