The Inn at Saratoga

Probably one of my favorite hotels or inns I’ve stayed in. Historic in the good sense: beautiful woodwork, cozy and inviting public rooms (a hallway, living room, and dining room complete with a working grandfather clock, crackling fire, and coffee and cake set out for guests when we arrived early in the evening on a rainy, windy Halloween Eve). Also, a charming twinkly restaurant/bar with overstuffed armchairs, little iron and marble tables with vintage lamps on them, and a top-notch bartender. My son and I, on a college tour of New England and upstate New York, shared the cheapest room they had, possibly the only one with two beds, and it was spacious, spotless, and full of character. The bathroom was also large, modern, and spotless. We had drinks and dinner at the delightful restaurant and chatted at length with our server about the town and the inn. I had a superb handcrafted cocktail and the food was great and very farm-to-table innovative. Breakfast was also very good - eggs, sausages, bacon, hash, potatoes, baked goods, bagels, yogurt, cereal, fruit and good coffee. This place is a real gem and a bargain. Can’t wait to go back during college drop off next year...or I’ll find another reason to visit Saratoga Springs and this inn.

myself and 3 kids stayed the night. we ate dinner and breakfast there. Great staff, fresh breakfast and charming rooms.

nice facility; friendly staff; walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars.

Absolutely marvelous hotel right in the heart of Saratoga Springs. The whole place was turn-of-the-century with "antique" furniture everywhere!! Unfortunately we had to leave a day early, but we are coming back and we are staying at the Inn at Saratoga!!!

We needed two reading chairs, but there was only one. Breakfast was excellent, better than any other b&b. One drawback was the presence of tiny gnats which was a little bothersome.

So this year we decided to upgrade from the Springs Motel to a nicer place. Thought the idea of a historical place would be nice. ! Wow! My wife has allergies and your policy says no animals. Of all places for a dog to be in the dining room at breakfast and it was not a service dog. That is a health violation I'm sure People outside on the porch till 1:30 in the morning yelling and talking loud. Bottom of the middle shade in the room ripped off.Air conditioner sounds like a lawn mower. Trucks down shifting throughout the night windows not silencing the noise. Not the palace I had thought we were headed to. Your staff is very nice!

Had a great stay! Walked to track one day, about a 15 min walk, but didn't have to deal with parking there. Great restaurants within waking distance, parking at hotel was limited, so once you got a spot it was just easier to walk. Breakfast was good. Bar at hotel was friendly and fun!! Will go back:)

If you love the high, four post bed, period furniture and windsor chairs, this is for you. Super clean bed - which is important to me - great pillows, sheets, quiet as a mouse. slept like a dead person. large separate room with desk and hanging coat and shirt rack. Large period drawers in room - more than I needed for a weekend. Good bath room. Wish all hotels used nice toilet paper. It does matter. The only reason it gets a 3 for hotel facilities is because it is older. Not that it isn't well kept up but old places are different from newly restored old places so just want to be helpful. Breakfast I skipped due to other plans but looked awesome. Very convenient to Downtown and the parking simple too. Staff could not have been nicer. I would definitely stay again. Also, rates very reasonable.

The included breakfast was wonderful. Only complaint is the bed was too high! Had to use stepping stool to get onto bed. Quit inconvenient. Also the chairs are very uncomfortable, not one that you can relax in.

The staff of the hotel is extra nice and service oriented. The building has lots of character because it is over 100 years, but it is not beat-up- everything works and is in good condition. Breakfast is complete and the restaurant is of good quality.

The room was exquisite and the bed was so comfortable I did not want to get up. The service was outstanding from check-in until check-out enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that included a little bit of everything delightful for the morning.

Wonderful staff and they had live music in the tavern the two nights I stayed there!!!

Very convenient location to town & places of interest. Friendly staff, large, clean, comfortable room. Pretty good buffet breakfast. Excellent value.

The Inn at Saratoga is so beautiful! The antique furniture was unbelievable. Everyone should stay at this beautiful facility at least one night. You won't be sorry!

The food in the tavern was outstanding!!! Great staff.

We had an enjoyable getaway to Saratoga Springs with our stay in the Inn at Saratoga. People were very nice and helpful. Room was comfortable. Location in town was perfect.

The Inn at Saratoga is a gem. An antique hotel with a staff and updates to give comfort to the modern traveler. Walking distance to Broadway, entertainment and fabulous restaurants. I recommend and would certainly stay again.

My wife and I loved our room with its Victorian era furnishing and romantic ambiance, that was spotlessly clean. This was a good value right at the southern end of Downtown Saratoga Springs. Walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops. Congress Park, a beautiful little slice of serenity, is practically across the street. Complimentary cucumber water and fresh fruit in the lobby is a nice touch. The buffet breakfast was fresh, homemade and delicious, a cut above most hotels. We recommend this Inn when in Saratoga Springs.

This inn exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, well kept, and the furniture was beautiful! Beds were super comfy as well. Bathroom was clean and updated and the toiletries were nice. The staff was very pleasant (allowed us early check-in with no problems) and the complimentary breakfast was awesome (eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, juice/coffee, potatoes, etc.). The dining area was very classy. The location is perfect, just a short walk to downtown and the park. I would absolutely stay here again!

The Inn at Saratoga offers a wonderful combination of historic charm and modern comfort, in a convenient location just a short walk to Congress Park and the heart of town.
