Friendly but property on the downslide
Quaint inn with charm and character yet updated bathrooms and comfortable beds. Bar has good selection and live acoustic music.
Beautiful, historic building. Convenient location and very friendly staff. Its an old building but the rooms are updated without losing the historic feel.
Location was good. Property needed update and some TLx.
What a great place to stay. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Check in was smooth. Every precaution taken for pandemic safe stay. Great signage to inform guests of how to navigate safely during our stay.
Michelle at the front desk was outstanding. The room was spacious and a king size bed was very comfortable
The customer service and staff were extremely friendly. The actual accomodations were small. It's just a personal preference but I found it very dark and I prefer light and airy. If you like old decor and a vintage feel, this is the perfect place for you. Excellent location--to walk to many restaurants, parks and shopping.
The good part, the room was very nice & large. Due to Covid, breakfast was terrible. We reserved a room due to breakfast reviews of how wonderful it was. Fruit cup was the best thing. Cold pastries, bagels n cereal boxes. My opinion, not worth money to stay there esp $188 night in total.
This is a lovely hotel with very nice staff. The room was very clean.
The hotel is from the 1840’s which it makes it interesting. Our room was nice and comfortable, the floor was uneven which added to the history of the building. The free breakfast was very good and the sitting area was really unique. Overall a good place to stay, there should be more parking and the area should have been cleared of ice better because we had to be real careful going to out to our car
Historic property, but well maintained. Building is a bit creaky, but that is part of the charm. Bar/restaurant adjoining the lobby was nicely decorated for the winter holidays, had live music, friendly waitstaff. Much more character than the big chain hotels in the city!
The Victorian character of this historic hotel is preserved in its furnishings and decorations.
It's a classic hotel, lovely rooms, a nice bar & restaurant. A terrific breakfast is included. The location was perfect for our trip.
Cozy hotel, decorated in Victorian Saratoga charm. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Very convenient location. Lovely staff.
Rustic cozy inn, we enjoyed our stay with a comfortable bed and nice breakfast. Warm and inviting bar for our cold weather stay.

Thank you for taking the time to give us this review. We have been working hard to renovate the entire hotel and we have started on the first floor. By this next fall we will have renovated throughout the rest of the hotel. Hopefully if you come visit us again you can see the work that has been accomplished since you stayed with us last.
