If you love the high, four post bed, period furniture and windsor chairs, this is for you. Super clean bed - which is important to me - great pillows, sheets, quiet as a mouse. slept like a dead person. large separate room with desk and hanging coat and shirt rack. Large period drawers in room - more than I needed for a weekend. Good bath room. Wish all hotels used nice toilet paper. It does matter. The only reason it gets a 3 for hotel facilities is because it is older. Not that it isn't well kept up but old places are different from newly restored old places so just want to be helpful. Breakfast I skipped due to other plans but looked awesome. Very convenient to Downtown and the parking simple too. Staff could not have been nicer. I would definitely stay again. Also, rates very reasonable.
The included breakfast was wonderful. Only complaint is the bed was too high! Had to use stepping stool to get onto bed. Quit inconvenient. Also the chairs are very uncomfortable, not one that you can relax in.
The staff of the hotel is extra nice and service oriented. The building has lots of character because it is over 100 years, but it is not beat-up- everything works and is in good condition. Breakfast is complete and the restaurant is of good quality.
The room was exquisite and the bed was so comfortable I did not want to get up. The service was outstanding from check-in until check-out enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that included a little bit of everything delightful for the morning.
Wonderful staff and they had live music in the tavern the two nights I stayed there!!!
Very convenient location to town & places of interest. Friendly staff, large, clean, comfortable room. Pretty good buffet breakfast. Excellent value.
The Inn at Saratoga is so beautiful! The antique furniture was unbelievable. Everyone should stay at this beautiful facility at least one night. You won't be sorry!
The food in the tavern was outstanding!!! Great staff.
We had an enjoyable getaway to Saratoga Springs with our stay in the Inn at Saratoga. People were very nice and helpful. Room was comfortable. Location in town was perfect.
The Inn at Saratoga is a gem. An antique hotel with a staff and updates to give comfort to the modern traveler. Walking distance to Broadway, entertainment and fabulous restaurants. I recommend and would certainly stay again.
My wife and I loved our room with its Victorian era furnishing and romantic ambiance, that was spotlessly clean. This was a good value right at the southern end of Downtown Saratoga Springs. Walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops. Congress Park, a beautiful little slice of serenity, is practically across the street. Complimentary cucumber water and fresh fruit in the lobby is a nice touch. The buffet breakfast was fresh, homemade and delicious, a cut above most hotels. We recommend this Inn when in Saratoga Springs.
This inn exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, well kept, and the furniture was beautiful! Beds were super comfy as well. Bathroom was clean and updated and the toiletries were nice. The staff was very pleasant (allowed us early check-in with no problems) and the complimentary breakfast was awesome (eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, juice/coffee, potatoes, etc.). The dining area was very classy. The location is perfect, just a short walk to downtown and the park. I would absolutely stay here again!
The Inn at Saratoga offers a wonderful combination of historic charm and modern comfort, in a convenient location just a short walk to Congress Park and the heart of town.
We stayed at the Inn in early Feb 2014 for a quick overnight experience. The location is on the edge of main shopping avenue so it is a short walk to shops, restaurants and bars. The price was great with the room being large with a huge bed and nice decor. For a historic inn, this place is hard to beat when you combine price, location and room comfort.
I really couldn't have been happier with the Inn at Saratoga. It has the charm of an older Inn, but is cleaner and better appointed than many other hotels that style. The bed was comfortable, classy, and huge—I had to use the ottoman to even get into it (read: it was that high.) Staff gave a great recommendation to try out Druthers Brewery down the street (go for the Karma Fist Brown.) On-site parking was convenient, and breakfast was exactly what you would expect out of a continental. Would (and will!) stay here again.
Loved the old world feel of this hotel. What a pleasant surprise from standard hotel rooms.
One-night stay that was not restful at all. Pillows felt like they had rocks inside! Staff was excellent, but the hotel's amenities leave much to be desired. Room was dark and musty...pillows were AWFUL!
Conveiently located downtown, so easy to find and with parking onsite (which was important to us on what turned out to be a reainy day). Nicely appointed with antiques and appropriate period pieces. Quiet comfortable room, although the window AC unit was a bit loud. Typical breakfast fare in the morning. Had a nice dinner the night before in the restaurant there. Overall - we were pleased and felt it was a good value for the price.
I was in town for just one night. I could easily walk to local shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable, I was very happy. I would recommend it to a friend.
