The Chateau at Saint John is a good hotel to stay at in Saint John. It is very nice inside, with spacious and luxurious rooms. The staff here are very nice (unlike the staff at the Chateau in Moncton). Breakfast could do with a lot more vegan and vegetarian options other than apples and oranges. Otherwise good

The Chateau at Saint John is an excellent hotel with beautiful rooms and suites. Everything is as promised (unlike the Chateau at Moncton), and the rooms feel really special. The suite in particular is huge, has a comfortable pull out bed from the sofa, a gorgeous shower and jacuzzi tub, a dining room, and much more. It’s too bad it’s right on the highway, but the sound proofing is good, and we slept well. The king size beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was good, but didn’t cater well to vegetarians or vegans (no soy or anything but regular milk for coffee, only a few fruit other than the eggs, bacon, sausage, etc). The staff at breakfast were so nice and friendly, that they cheered up every one in line. The joy there is contagious. Overall an excellent hotel let down only by the highway, no dinner at the hotel, and no vegan options for breakfast. But please don’t assume other Chateau’s by Wyndham are the same. The one at Moncton is terrible.

The staff was fabulous at check-in and exceptional during breakfast. The food was warm and delicious, as were the coffee drinks. Nespresso machine in the room was a bonus. Weird location.

The front desk staff and the breakfast team were so awesome. Trudy and Lucas went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were always eager to help, had such great energy and were so positive. Highly recommend this hotel.

Welcoming hotel

Fairly traditional look, but comfortable, clean, and the staff are super helpful. Quiet, despite being close to the road, which also made it very accessible for the ferry terminal. Good recommendations for eats around St. John. Made for a great stay.
