Loved the proximity to downtown St John and the convenient walking trail. Clean, neat and staff was helpful, including the cleaning people. One of the housekeepers saw us debating which way to go to find something and she took time to tell us, show us on a map and even point out landmarks out the window.

We stayed for 1 night on our way PEI the staff was lovely and accommodating & a warm breakfast in the morning made our stay that much better.

Everything about my experience at this hotel was superb. Check-in was quick, and the agent was very solicitous. The building is new and modern with great decor. It would be a long walk to downtown, but there is long-term pay parking available on the waterfront. To my astonishment, the hotel put on a barbecue for guests on Wednesday.

The room was spacious and convenient for us with a furry friend. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. Great stay.

Overflow parking is terrible. Otherwise hotel was good.

Except for the fact that renovations prevented doing laundry and the bed was a bit too soft; everything else was great. Manager's welcome had excellent wine and tasty appetizers. Staff was very helpful with suggestions and directions.

the staff was great. The room was good. I would rate it great except the mattress was too soft. We had to put a pillow between us to keep from rolling together. The breakfast buffet was above average. They had a slightly different fare each day. The location was excellent. Easy to get to from any direction when doing our daily excursions.

I stayed one night at this hotel (arriving at 10pm), the hotel room was clean and well organized, the staff were polite and the breakfast quality was good however, we faced the followings during our stay: 1- Water pressure was really low in bathroom make the old style toilet tank be filled really slow making the next person wait 10 minutes before re-using. 2- The bathroom did not have a fan/ fan was not functional so the room got humid and smelly after each use. 3- The old style hand washing sink was obstructed. The receptionist was informed the next day however, he just say that they are sorry! I won't stay at this hotel/even Holidays Inn chain next time as this was the second time happened to me once in London, UK and this time in St. John, NB.

Stayed there on our way to Nova Scotia from Ontario. Would definitely stay there again it was in a convenient location. Friendly staff well kept.

Very good staff was always helpful with suggestions for things to do and how to get. It is a 15 minute walk to lots of places to eat and shop in the Uptown area. Also close to highway 1 so it was an easy in and out.

Got there late but staff was very helpful with info on we're to get money exchanged and how to contact the ferry to get reservation changed

Great hotel with free breakfast, free wi-fi, free parking and even free laundry detergent.

Our two day stay in St. John was made even better by the holiday inn and suites. Very well located to see market square and the reversing falls.

Very clean. There is a great walking path very close to the hotel.

This is a first class hotel and the staff were excellent. When we arrived the desk clerk was very friendly and upgraded our room without even a request. Our view out the window was of the city of Saint John and the harbor area were we came in several times on cruise ships. The view at night was wonderful. The room itself was fantastic. This was a very well run hotel with very clean rooms, great amenities and super service. You will definately be pleased.

The hotel is located very near downtown St. John; we had a magnificent view of the harbor from our room. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

Saw the sights and enjoyed the unexpected open-air markets

The free breakfast buffet was average and adequate. It, however, was an excellent way to start the morning. Location was great. Ample parking and easy access to the expressway etc made it easy to go up and down the coast to see the sites. Short ride to the Reversing Falls and the Jet boat ride which was fantastic.

The hotel is good on many levels: clean, well positioned, good breakfast, parking included and well mantained room. Car is needed to move in the area.
