Room was ok. Staff was not really polite and courtesy. As indication written in the elevator this hotel prefer that customer book directly and not by third party. Staff asked full breakfast price for kid under 6 year!!!

We liked our stay, small room but easily walkable area right in the midlde of the shops. We weren't there much throughout the day, mainly just to sleep. The building gets locked at night and you get a keycode to come in so that was comforting to know we were safe. We didn't know our window was open when we arrived so we had mosquitoes in there for 2 days, it was past 11pm when we realized so I called the staff about it, but they did nothing, told me they'd call me back with a solution and never did. I told them again after we left just so someone knew so hopefully it won't happen to the next person. There is not an elevator and the stairs are small and steep so caution with large/heavy luggage, it could be a lot of steps. We enjoyed our stay other than the mosquitoes!

Rooms are clean and the hotel staff are friendly. It would be nice if the hotel Wi-Fi required a password. Right now, your connection is not 100% secure. The safe in my room was a bit too small.

The location is absoutely perfect! A short walk to two train stations (The B or the A) and to major landmarks (Trevo Fountain, Colesseum...). Staff was friendly and I appreciated the extra security of leaving your key at reception every time you left the hotel. As a solo traveler, this was important. The room was perfect size for 1 person, might be a little tight for two. I was offered an upgrade but my original room had a balcony and I wasn't willing to part with it. It was worth it! I had breakfast on my little terazza almost every morning, and it offered a respite in the afternoons to recharge and get my bearings before heading out again. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the hotel could use some maintenance and the shower is ::tiny:: I also didn't have any control over the HVAC unit, so if it was too hot I had to crack open the balcony doors which I didn't want to do while I was sleeping. Other than that, this is a great place to stay and explore Rome.

Hotel Verona was a great hotel and ideally situated within walking distance of the main attractions. Rooms were very clean with a good breakfast and hotel staff were very helpful with any questions you may have. There are numerous restaurants close by and Trevi Fountain is an approximate 15min walk away with lots of shopping and cafes. I would definitely stay at Hotel Verona again. Would recommend.
