A fantastic hotel central to the many wonders of Rome is the easiest way to sum it up. Before you even arrive the hotel's staff will be in contact to help make arrival faster and more enjoyable. The communication is incredible before, during and after, your stay. The entire staff is helpful, friendly, and accommodating from the first ciao to the last. Veronica got our bags checked and helped us setup for an early arrival as our plane landed at 7am on a Saturday. She brought us water, showed us where the best places to grab a coffee and American breakfast and was delighted to tell us about local restaurants around Rome.
European hotels are known to have smaller rooms than US hotels, but our Junior suite, for myself, wife and 16 year old son, never felt too small. Very comfortable king size bed, a chaise that doubles as a twin size bed, and minimalistic furnishings were more than adequate to feeling spacious. The small patio was a great place to sit and have a glass of wine at night while listening to the hustle and bustle of the piazza below. The beds were comfortable and clean, housekeeping came through daily and refreshed everything.
The soundproofing of these rooms is remarkable. You could be in your room with the windows closed and completely forget that there are hundreds of people directly below you eating, drinking, and walking into the late hours of the night unless you open a window.
You are steps from the Trevini Fountain or the Pantheon
