Wow! This cabin has been the best yet! Everything was so clean and nice. Everything was stocked as needed and easily accessible. The owners have been the sweetest and are quick to respond if needed! We will definitely be back soon!

This cabin is the absolute best! It is gorgeous, was clean and homey, and had everything we could have needed and more! It worked wonderfully for my spouse and I, as well as for our three and one year olds! Everything worked as it should and Betsy was highly available for any questions! The area is also wonderful for local activities! We enjoyed our time for a week and are already saying we’ll need to go back again!

We had a wonderful New Year stay at this house. The abundance of appliances really stood out - the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. The bedrooms and fireplace area were also very well stocked, which made the stay extremely comfortable.We especially appreciated the private, secured area, which gave us peace of mind and a sense of seclusion. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and made our stay even more relaxing. Overall, it was a great place to unwind and celebrate the New Year. We would definitely recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay for my birthday weekend with our 2 boys. The hosts were very responsive and communication was easy. The cabin is beautiful! All amenities were above and beyond, very clean, and we did not want to leave! We highly recommend this stay and we will look forward to coming back!

Beautiful Mountain Cabin…. the owners thought of EVERYTHING!!!! My daughter forgot her noise machine, but one was in the cabin, extra batteries available for electronics, honey sticks provided for the wonderful teas provided. One of our best Thanksgiving holidays ever

This log cabin is an incredible retreat! 10/10 It is well maintained and very clean! Communication was excellent and hosts have done a wonderful job with every detail. Personal toiletries, fluffy towels & bedding, comfortable furniture & beds, extra soft blankets for cuddling by the fire place and a stocked coffee bar & kitchen. The property is beautiful with an awesome fire pit and hot tub. Absolutely perfect for star gazing! We stayed during the Taurids meteor shower and WOW! Spectacular show! The cabin is so quiet & peaceful. Nestled on top of the mountain (I would note that having a vehicle with some clearance with AWD or 4WD would be very helpful). The cabin is far enough away for real solitude and serenity but only a 20 min drive to Shenandoah River State Park or Luray. 30 min drive to Shenandoah National Park. We enjoyed hiking Dark Hollow Falls in the NP and a few other trails, enjoyed the scenic Skyline drive and spent another day hiking the state park. We're an adventurous family that enjoys the great outdoors and a peaceful escape. This cabin offered everything we were hoping for and then some! Many thanks to Kevin and Betsy for sharing your wonderful cabin with us! We will definitely return in the future!

Gorgeous, clean, comfortable home with all kinds of unexpected touches that make you feel special. It really is secluded from traffic noise and the hubbub of daily living - incredibly relaxing. Great communication with hosts, would definitely recommend!

Exceptional Experience!

The property is meticulously maintained and provides everything you can think of. It's clean and smells so fresh! The location is perfect if you love the outdoors and being away from any noise. The owners were in contact throughout the stay and offered suggestions on local fun and let us know to contact them if we needed anything. This place is 10/10, it does not disappoint!

Immaculate cabin! By far the most cleanly cabin ive seen. And not another human in sight. Truly a stunning property. Couldn’t see the mountains from the summer leaves but the property was so beautiful it didn’t matter. Thank you for such an amazing stay!

Great secluded spot!

This was a great luxury cabin nestled just outside of Shenandoah. It was big, spacious, bright and cozy. Lots of great touches and amenities in the property. We especially loved the screened in porch. Amazing spot for a relaxing getaway.

The perfect cabin in the woods

You really are on your own at the top of a mountain but with all the best comforts--hot tub, firepit, fireplace, views, comfortable bed. The cabin is so well equipped, clean and the hosts have thought of everything, one would think they planned the deer that gently walk onto the property. Whispering trees

This cabin, tucked into the side of the national park, gave us a few days to relax, unwind and recharge. The wind in the trees created a soothing sound. I read on the screened porch, walked the steep road and even rode my bike along the quiet roads. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we recommend this property to all who like to be enveloped in nature.

Perfect

Looking for getaway with parents that was easy to maneuver with downstairs master bedroom and step in shower. Luckily, we already had the 4wd and everything else was just treasure! The hosts are so generous with what is supplied at the cabin and contact was plentiful to make sure every need was met. Furnishings are comfy and we enjoyed the screened in porch listening to nature -the hot tub was an added delight. Didn’t want to leave. I’m sure in the Fall it is gorgeous! Thank you again!

Peaceful end of our stay in Virginia!

This was the most clean, organized, and well stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at! The host provided everything you could possibly need and is perfect for families! The property was private and beautiful! Our family enjoyed the hot tub and drinking coffee and cocoa on the porches. It was soo relaxing just sitting outside and being serenaded by the birds! We chose this cabin as an end to our busy week long trip to Virginia and it was the perfect end to our trip! I love when a place we stay at feels well taken care of and you can tell the hosts really take care of this place and thought of practically everything! The road up was for sure steep and bumpy, so 4WD was much needed, but worth it! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Unplugged

My wife and I decided we need to escape reality for a while, and figured atop a mountain somewhere could be it. This certainly was one of those trips. The Host-Betsy answered my questions, very few details of what we needed, but upon arrival-everything was as advertised. The comfy king bed, tv services (tuned into music). Working Wifi-though not used for work. Relaxing was the key to this adventure for us. We spent hours by the fire-relaxed in the Hot tub, enjoyed it more while the sky opened to a few hours of falling snow. Peacefully quiet. Although there were many places to venture out-we saw no need to. We Thoroughly enjoyed this peace filled adventure, and can't wait for our next opportunity to visit again, and bring family with grandchildren next time. We cannot imagine any visitors nor realizing what a pure gem this place is. Thank you Kevin and Betsy for allowing us to visit, enjoy-Relax and unplug. It's a great feeling knowing places like this exist. This place provides everything under one roof. We cannot express enough how connecting this was for the both of us!

A Slice of Heaven on Earth

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The property was beautiful and very quiet, and the sunsets were incredible. The cabin was perfect. Very clean, organized, well stocked (including a Christmas tree for our stay!), and everything is labeled. The hosts were very communicative and checking in was a breeze. Highly recommend.
