Two master suites in historic downtown

A nod to the classic actors of a bygone era, the Hepburn offers guests a unique blend of modern and vintage decor. The apartment spans three floors behind our family-owned theater. With two full private suites, full kitchen, pub-inspired lounge, and two private balconies this is a stay you are sure to remember!
The space
Once you step foot inside, you will notice the incredible attention to detail the designers have taken from porcelain tiled floor to high relief ceiling. In the kitchen, hammered copper ceiling tiles and hardwood cabinetry make for a cozy breakfast space. Down the hall you will find a prohibition era-styled lounge with bolstered leather couches, wingback chairs, and a hardwood game table. This lounge has been outfitted with original film canisters and film cabinet from the theater owner’s private collection.

Up the stairs to the second and third floor private full suites, you are enclosed by wrought iron railings and a stone wall fit for a castle. Both private suites have full bath and closets, electric fireplaces, and private balconies that overlook the Blue Ridge mountains and north end of Luray.

With such attention given to decor and layout, this rental is not kid-friendly. The Hepburn is within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, a brewery, and wine shop, our beautiful greenway and is minutes away from Luray Caverns.

We had a great stay at the Hepburn house. Lots of eclectic features and the beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the location in the center of town and it was an easy walk to the coffee shops, restaurants and stores.

This place is beautiful! So much attention to detail and the theme and feel of the whole place. Location is perfect in the town. Easy to get to a wonderful walking path near the river. Fun coffee shops and gift shops on the Main Street. Big rooms. Comfortable beds. Everything was great!

This is a really unique apartment with luxurious designs and furniture. Make sure you're comfortable with stairs! The location is perfect for walking to dinner and beautiful walking trails along the water. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying here. The outside is a parking lot and at first put us off, but it was fine. Always had a great parking spot right outside the door. The inside is beautiful, amazing interior design, really a pleasure.

Weekend wedding

Our experience was exceptional, we couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The space was even better than the pictures. We were walking distance to shops and restaurants and close near to the venue where the wedding took place. The check in process was smooth and easy and parking was so convenient. We would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend this place to stay if you're here to visit.

What a gem!

The layout of this unique rental was so fun and fanciful. We wish we had more time to enjoy this lovely place. Fanciful, over the top decor that made you feel like you were swept back to the 1920’s Hollywood era. For the price, this spot can’t be beat! My family, including an angsty pre-teen, absolutely loved this place.

Such attention to detail in the decor of this very classy apartment. Definitely a great find when traveling when another couple, as both Master Suites were amazing, no need to flip a coin for the best room, LOL. We did have a bit of a surprise upon arrival - apparently housekeeping had forgotten to return to one of the bathrooms and vacuum up a pile of dirt they had gathered and replace the throw rug. I mean who among us hasn't made that mistake once. What is remarkable about this is the response from the hosts. They immediately apologized, showed up within minutes, took care of the issue, offered compensation, etc.,,, Seriously above and beyond. This is rare and excellent find! Wonderfully decorated, comfortable public and private spaces. Splendid Location - next to theatre, quaint restaurants, gift shops, hiking trails, etc. We were there for a wedding and had a lovely, comfortable stay. Would highly recommend!!

What a fun place to stay!! We loved having this ideal downtown location for our long weekend stay in Luray. We were able to walk to dinner and coffee every day and the cute shops were so fun to explore. Jennifer was such a kind host, very communicative and responsive. We loved having the separate suites and the three story unit is just fun! Would definitely recommend this place to any traveler looking to explore Shenandoah or George Washington National Forest! Only 30 minutes away from the main sites in each park! We loved being able to hike during the day and have a nice dinner in the evening. You can hear the movies playing in the theater on the other side of the wall but they don’t run late so it wasn’t a bother to us at all!
