Situated on 4 acres, Riverfront sits a mere 500 feet from the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. An easy 90-min drive from DC, this pet-friendly retreat will have you relaxed in no time. A new hot tub offers views of the river where you can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Designed for couples or families, this private cabin boasts modern conveniences including: fast wifi, EV charger, smart home devices, flatscreen TV, drip coffee maker, spa bathrobes, and a large gas fireplace.

Built on the banks of the Shenandoah River in the 1950s, our newly renovated pet-friendly Airbnb offers a relaxing tranquil retreat immersed in the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. A 90-minute drive from DC and a mere 15-min from the famous Luray and Skyline Caverns, you will wake up relaxed to the sounds of nature all around you.

This 1000-sq ft cabin has been updated with modern conveniences to ensure your stay is comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. You’ll enter the cabin using a smart keypad. As you open the door, you’re greeted by a fully enclosed patio offering a panoramic view overlooking the river. The patio offers a sitting area for full relaxation and enjoyment. A large farmhouse dining room is conveniently placed to host a gourmet meal after a long day on the river or to gather ‘round for puzzles and games. A bar cart is equipped with what’ll need to mix cocktails or to hold wine from a day wine tasting at one of the region’s local vineyards.

In the main room, a tablet and welcome book rest on the peninsula and provide all the information and recommendations you’ll need to settle in and truly enjoy your stay. With seating for three, the peninsula is a gathering place for those prep’ing a meal, or a place to sit and enjoy conversation while planning your next adventure.

Our updated kitchen is fully stocked with all the things you’ll need to prepare an intimate meal for two or a family-style dinner for a group. Our kitchen offers an oven, toaster, drip coffee marker, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and more.

Relax & Enjoy
The living room is thoughtfully laid out for comfort in mind. You can’t miss our large stone fireplace which adds rustic and homey charm. Adjacent to the fireplace is a large sectional where family and friends can gather for a movie on a wifi-enabled flat-screen TV or to play games late into the evening. And our library has books, games, and puzzles to keep you entertained for hours. You also have your choice of seating to lounge, read or simply pour a glass of wine and curl up to watch a movie.

Sleep Easy
Riverfront offers three bedrooms — a primary suite with a queen bed, a bunk room with a twin and full mattress and our lower bedroom with a queen bed and its own half-bath. The lower bedroom offers a stunning view of the river and a bit of privacy from the main-level. Each room is thoughtfully equipped with comfy bedding for all seasons and wireless phone chargers.

The Deck *Hot tub*, large deck, grill,
Head outside on the deck which is equipped with a large gas grill, comfortable deck seating, outdoor picnic table and perfect for family meals. And saving the best for last, a new state of the art 6-seat hot tub is ready to enjoy at any time — you’ll find bath robes in the cabin.

For a bit more relaxation, mozzie on over to our fire pit for s’mores or an evening music and conversation under the stars! — or you can stay on the deck and relax under bistro lights and the sounds of the river in the background.

A washer and dryer are also on site and available at your convenience.

Kayaks, canoes, and U.S. Coast Guard rated life vests for adults and kids are provided. ***Note: swimming and use of these items are at the guest’s own risk.***

Access to the river is approximately 500 feet from the cabin. A wheel cart for the kayaks/canoes is provided to bring boats to the river’s edge.

Riverfront is equipped with a high-chair, pack-n-play and toys, games, and puzzles to be enjoyed by kids of all ages.

By request only, we try our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs. If we're able to offer either (or both), a flat fee of $60 will be applied.
