Very luxury and comfortable department, near from Playa de Los Muertos and very easy to get there. The view, the place and the pool are amazing. Jim is a great host.

Exceeded expectations

From the moment we booked to the moment we sadly departed, this villa exceeded our expectations. Jim and his staff were welcoming, responsive, and accommodating. We ordered groceries and the car service in advance and everything was ready when we arrived. The villa is beautiful, clean, and modern. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the balcony and dipping pool. We liked being high above town where it was quiet but enjoyed being able to get to town and beach quickly and easily (less than 5 mins)! The view is fantastic and we saw (and heard) rare birds from our balcony.We also got massages by Claudia and Ana. They were some of the best massages we’ve ever had - and we’ve had great massages! Afterwards, Chef Korina prepared an amazing meal for us. And Layce and Dulce helped us with the perfect timing of both! We are already planning when we can return!

The perfect trip!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon at Jim and Connie’s beautiful condo in PV! The property manager, Layce, and Jim were so communicative and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Layce helped us organize in-house massages that were fantastic and went over their many other offerings. The building staff also met us at check in and check out to make sure everything went smoothly and that we settled in nicely. The condo itself was spotless and fully stocked with anything we needed and we were able to arrange to have groceries ready for us on arrival thanks to Layce. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio, drinks by the private soaking pool, and a couple quiet nights in front of the TV. We really did not have to ask for anything and it was the perfect home away from home. The location was also great for what we were looking for in PV. It’s a short walk down the hill and town to the beach (we loved sapphire beach club) and taxis or Ubers were super affordable if we didn’t feel like walking. The road is paved with large stones as are most roads in PV but it was fine in good walking shoes/sandals. Nice quiet neighborhood, comfy bed, AC, and a great view! Ultimately, they all run an excellent and streamlined operation and my husband and I were blown away.

Private Palace with a Pool

We had a great time here. The unit is huge, the private pool is amazing to chill out during the day or watch the city lights at night. The heart of downtown is an easy walk down some very cool stairs or a 5 uber ride away. The views are breathtaking and the unit was very clean and extremely well equipped. We would definitely return!

Loved our stay

Bella Vista and the support team were outstanding. Inquiries and requests were responded to almost immediately and they were keen to be helpful and responsive. The condo was immaculate and all the interior amenities were of high quality: the beds, towels, kitchenware, etc. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking which we did. We enjoyed the view on the balcony as well as taking dips in the plunge pool. Jim, the owner was very attentive and responsive. Checking to see if we needed anything and answering any questions. He also honourably pointed out prior to our booking that the condo was on a cobblestone hill so that residents would need to be able to walk on the cobblestones and strollers might be more challenged. We walked up and down for the most part and or used an uber which was easy to get. I recommend the experience of staying at Bella Vista very highly without any reservations.

Fabulous spot!

The condo was beautiful- very well equipped and furnished. The views are amazing and worth it but be aware that the ride up is somewhat challenging and not walkable. Ubers are easy to get know the way - taxis are often confused. A wonderful spot to stay!

Just Book It!!

Jim and Connie’s place is absolute perfection! We booked it as part of a three-stop trip to Puerto Vallarta to help promote tourism in the area, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. From start to finish, Jim was wonderful, making the entire process seamless. Communication with him, as well as Layce, Dulce, and Raul (the management team), was excellent, which made our experience even more enjoyable. As for the condo itself—wow! The pictures are gorgeous, but being there in person was like stepping into a dream. Every detail in the condo is so beautifully thought out that I found myself snapping photos of the decor for inspiration for my own home. We practically lived in the infinity pool, soaking up the perfect views of the ocean and watching fireworks over the water every single night. It truly felt like paradise. The location is ideal too—it’s far enough up the hill to avoid the nightlife noise but close enough to everything, with just a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and to town. A quick tip: walk down and Uber back up, especially after indulging in a few margs. That hill is not messing around! But it’s fantastic way to get in some cardio, and the stunning views from the condo make it 100% worth it. The bed was incredibly comfy, the shower was amazing, and the AC was not only perfectly cool but also served as the best white noise. Every detail of this place was on point. I honestly can’t think of a single negative thing to say. We will definitely be back!!

Paradise with a view

Can’t say enough great things about this stay. Condo is spacious, comfortable, well decorated and has everything you need. Communication was so easy and quick. View was incredible, pool is perfect. Ubers for food delivery or trips to town were easy and inexpensive. Perfect luxury getaway! We will definitely be back.

Another Wonderful Stay

This was our second stay at Condo Bella Vista. We provided a review of our first stay on March 5, 2023, and everything we wrote then remains true, and more. Jim and Connie clearly care a lot about the comfort of their guests and do everything they can to ensure it. They not only ensure the condo is well-maintained and well-stocked, they make improvements to it (they recently installed all new appliances and updated some of the decor in the condo). If you want a place where you can both feel "at home" and relax, while taking in spectacular views, this is the place for you!

Wonderful Experience

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at Casa Bella with spectacular views and a perfect location, close to old town. The place was well appointed with modern appliances and all the conveniences we could hope for. The cleaning lady Anet was friendly and thorough, and kept every room very clean. We had a family emergency that we had to deal with during our stay and our hosts (Jim and Connie) were very compassionate and helped ease us through a very difficult time. They were wonderful hosts. We are already planning our next stay.

My fiancé and I had a great stay at this beautiful villa. It was very clean and comfortable. The views are amazing. A three dollar Uber ride takes you right down to the Malecon.

Beautiful View

The view is amazing. The pictures are accurate. Unfortunately, there were maintenance issues--the pool heater was broken and the oven did not work. Also, there is a villa being built across the street so there was construction noise 8-5pm, not making it very relaxing to hang out. Because the location is in the hillsides above the Old Town, the roads are very steep/cobblestones so you really need to plan on using Uber to get downtown and back (which was cheap and very easy to use, nevertheless).

Beautiful condo with great views

This was our fifth visit to PV over the past decade. Two prior visits were in celebration of our 20th and 25th anniversaries. This visit was in celebration of our 30th. All of our prior rentals were nice, provided good views, and had private dipping pools, but none were quite as perfect for us as Jim and Connie's condo. Before, during, and after our stay, Jim was very thoughtful and responsive in his communications. He and Connie also went out of their way to extend their congratulations to us on our anniversary, which was unnecessary, though very much appreciated! Anet (the housekeeper) ensures the condo is spotless (evident both upon our arrival and after her mid-week cleaning) and makes very tasty guacamole and salsa! The condo is a nice balance of elegance and comfort. We spent most of our time on the nice sized terrace (including time in the dipping pool) either watching the birds, enjoying the nightly fireworks, or just daydreaming. When it came to retiring at the end of each day, the bed was quite comfortable, providing a good night's rest. We did a fair amount of cooking during our visit, so the well-stocked kitchen and available grill were also great to have. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and will definitely consider booking this unit for our next visit!

Absolutely stunning

This stunning condo has everything you could ever want or dream of...breathtaking ocean views, mountain views and jungle views. The condo was spotless and you can tell the owners put a lot of thought and love into the beautiful furnishings and decor. The couch and beds were super comfy. The kitchen had high quality appliances and everything you need to cook up your favorite meals. Upon arrival we were met by Osiris, the concierge, who was so friendly and accommodating even bringing groceries for just a small fee. And we were surprised with a birthday balloon bouquet, fresh made salsa and guacamole by Anet, the housekeeper. Delicious!! It was my birthday trip and they we went out of their way to make it an experience to remember. We loved sitting in the plunge pool days and evenings to listen to the sounds of Mexico and relax. Our trips down the mountain into town were so cheap with Uber, literally $5 or less! This was one of the best vacations we've ever taken and that was mostly because of this gorgeous condo and all the amenities. Our host, Jim, was extremely friendly and always a text away if we had any questions. I highly recommend this condo if you want to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Truely a "Bella Vista"

Incredibly Beautiful Condo in a perfect location! Fantastic views from the veranda. Jim and Connie have done a wonderful job in making the condo "feel like home"-from the tasteful decor throughout to the gourmet stocked kitchen. We took advantage of all of the amenities that this place has to offer including the outdoor grill. This was our second time staying in this lovely residential neighborhood. It is Very Peaceful in the morning watching the sunrise over this beautiful city and we cannot say enough about the people here- they are extremely welcoming and friendly. As others have mentioned- this complex does reside up on a very steep hill (resulting in the spectacular views), but it is certainly walkable down to Old Town and the ocean with sensible shoes :). Serrano's Grill is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant that is less than a 10 minute walk from the front door. Thank you again for sharing your amazing place with us and others. We will be back!!

Absolutely incredible

The photos don’t do this property justice. It’s absolutely stunning. We stayed for 8 days and will be back! Owners are super helpful and responsive, so is the local management company. Management company even responded to questions after normal business hours! We used the car service to and from the airport, as well as the masseuse and the doctor for Covid testing that the management company has on hand. Highly recommend all services, everyone was incredibly professional and well priced. The condo itself is stunning, comfortable, and spotless! The kitchen is well stocked with basics so we were able to grab a few things to cook dinner on the grill and enjoy the sunset. Every morning we woke up to beautiful bird calls from the trees above the property (not so loud that they woke us up but it was an instant reminder that you’re on vacation in the tropics when you get up) and every evening we watched the sun go down over the whole bay… followed by seeing the fireworks from the pirate ship in different parts of the bay each night. The pool is perfect size for a nice dip and to relax in after a day of exploring the city. Everything is super close! We were able to get Uber rides to any area of PV we wanted in the time it took us to walk down to the front door of the building. They’re also laughably cheap, like $2.50 US down to Los Muertos. Note to the wise: if you’re going down to the boardwalk set Uber to drop you off at Panchos tacos instead of the Blue Shrimp or other large tourist spot, sometimes it’s half the price and only a bock away. It’s also a beautiful walk down to the beach and the boardwalk. Most of the tours (zip lining, snorkeling etc) pick up from Los Muertos so the location is really easy for any trips. If you like plants and want to get out of town a little, I highly recommend getting and Uber or taxi out to the botanical gardens. It’s about a 35 min drive up into the hills. Entrance is very cheap and we did a self guided tour. Nice paths if your mobility is somewhat limited or you can adventure out on the loops of hiking trails and even trek down to the river and soak in the swimming holes. There’s a restaurant and gift shop that also sells fresh vanilla pods from their vanilla plantation. We had no issues getting them through customs. We will be back!
