Location is great, just a few minutes walk to the pier. Across from the beach, lots of restaurants nearby. Make sure you have information on checking in as front door is locked and there is no "front desk" to speak of. Make sure there is someone at the office to open the front door for you when you check in. Message Amapas to get their info. Maid service is only once a week on Mondays but you can request extra towels as well. Great value for location and a one bedroom unit with living area and kitchen as well. Small balcony with partial view of the ocean.

I’m glad I stayed at Amapas. Not only pricing was amazing! Laszlo at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The unit is spacious and has everything you need. Since I went in July I was a little concerned about the A/C situation but the unit was always cold. It was a perfect stay. I highly recommend it. You can walk to the restaurants and Bars

This is my second time at this property. The guy who checks you in is so friendly and helpful. The apartments are roomy, clean and have a nice kitchenette, AC, balcony with a partial view of the ocean… right in the zone romantica and steps from the beach, clubs and restaurants.

The apartment was a great size for 1-2 people. It was nice to have a table and chairs as well as the kitchen. The kitchen has the bare minimum needed to prepare meals, but no oils, salt & pepper etc. They did provide me with dish soap and sponge for cleaning up, and there’s an iron and ironing board in the closet on each floor. The building is very clean. It’s not brand new but it’s quite nice for the price. Laszlo communicated well and helped me with my luggage which was much appreciated. The “pool” on the roof is tiny and the water was way too warm to be refreshing. I would have preferred to be able to use it after 8pm.
