We were woken at 3:30 am to move in our room. Literally chewing through a bag we had travel snacks in. When I saw up and turned phone phone light on I saw them scatter. At 4 am they did move us to a different room however after a long day of travel having to wake my sons up and pack myself, husband and two kids to switch rooms all while shaking everything out was extremely stressful. The next morning in lobby I was filling out a refund request and noticed someone else was doing the same. She was on the 5th floor which is where we had just been moved to and had the same issue . The lady at front desk told us there was an abandoned property next door which was causing the issue, my husband said put out some mouse traps and you’ll get them, her response was there were far too many to catch. I’ve been trying to get a refund since we checked out Monday. Horrible. We didn’t even want to eat the breakfast due to an obvious mouse infestation!

I appreciated an easy check-in, a clean room, and a nice view of the city. But, water was only available for purchase ($3 per bottle!) as the small carafe in the lobby was just that - small, and was empty for Saturday morning breakfast and no staff around. No water service in the fitness center. The breakfast coffee offered must have reused the previous day's grounds as it was like mud. An inflated and not-worth-it price for the weekend due to events going on in the city. Hotel sits atop multiple busy highways. Cab driver cautioned me not to walk around the neighborhood alone at night.

My room was never cleaned or towels exchange even though i requested 2 days in a row. I had to put the dirty towels and trash outside my door before it was picked up. I had to go to front desk and actually get new towels myself. The indoor pool water was ice cold so didnt use that amenity for which i chose the hotel. The sheets and comfort on bed had stains. I had already had to change rooms once bc the first room assigned to me hadnt been clean from earlier check out. One day i guess staff called out bc there was not much breakfast ready and when ask front desk staff she had a attitude bc she was doing multiple jobs so we didnt eat there that day.

There were stains on our blanket and blinds. Breakfast was meh. They never refreshed the eggs, potatoes were oily and bacon tasted like salty paper. It was a convenient location and the woman who checked us in was pretty friendly. That’s about it for the positives though..

When we first walked in, the hotel atmosphere was nice. We parked in the back and came through the back and down the stairs to the main desk. We were greeted and had some difficulty with our Expedia booking, however the concierge quickly fixed that and reimbursed our parking fee. We appreciated her! The room was fine. When I was in the shower, my husband said he swore he saw a mouse and upon reading the reviews this month (October 2025) there were several reviews of mice in the room. I looked everywhere in the room and did not see mice feces nor the mouse but trust my husband’s word. I then woke up the next morning and saw a bug on the floor in the bathroom. I don’t know what type of bug it is, however I killed it and flushed it down the toilet. It was small and brown, but big enough to be seen on the bright white flooring. We quickly scanned the breakfast and around 9am it was pretty much empty. I had a piece of sausage and it wasn’t bad. The check out process was easy as we just dropped it in the key box. Overall, the hotel gave us a place to rest overnight hence our review rating.

Nice Hotel

I was impressed by the condition of the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean . The location was close to PPG arena. They had scrambled eggs, home fries , sausage and danishs for breakfast. Theres a nice pool and exercise room. Theres a nice view of the city from the patio. Over all we had a pleasant stay.

I am currently laying in bed at 9:30 at night in our room. The party above us has the music so loud it is vibrating our walls. My 8 year old is unable to go to sleep. I went down to the front desk to be told he was sorry but the party goes until 11 at night. Freaking unreal, you should be able to sleep in your hotel room you paid good money for. Not a happy camper at all
