The cabin was in a perfect location and very pet friendly. Plenty of grassy area to take your 4 legged best friend out to do his business!! It was equipped with everything we needed. I think this was the first cabin I have ever stayed in that actually had hand soap in the kitchen and both bathrooms. Nice touch. The furniture was comfortable and the bed was perfect. Not to hard. I will for sure book this cabin again when I decide to go back to Pigeon Forge and the host, John, was exceptional.
This massage chair was a blessing! Nice touch.

We enjoyed our stay at Groot's Place and plan to return with family! There's plenty of games for everyone to enjoy. The porches are a nice place to relax, drink coffee, and listen to the birds. 10 out of 10!

Groot’s Getaway - Perfect Amenities & Location

We had a great time during our stay! The hot tub, the game room, the fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds - all was exactly as described and enjoyed. We ESPECIALLY loved the massage chair.Our 3 year old said “Groot’s House” was his favorite part of the trip… he enjoyed it more than Dollywood/Dino mini golf/mountaincoaster/dig’n’zone etc. That says a lot!You’re basically 5-10 minutes away from everything on the main strip. Dollywood isn’t far away either.Thank you to the incredible hosts for helping our family create some pretty priceless memories

Perfect and clean!!

Everything listed for this location was/is accurate and worth the stay! Probably one of the cleanest homes we’ve rented and the beds were perfect for my back issues! Not too soft, not too firm. We had everything we needed but were also perfectly located among everything we wanted to see and experience. The host(s) were easily accessible and promptly replied with answers to questions we had (how to stuff). We would absolutely stay at Groot’s place again and recommended to everyone!

What a Fabulous little cabin!!!

This was our first “cabin stay” in Gatlinburg and we absolutely loved it. Starbright is perfectly situated in a location where you’re conveniently close to everything but not right in the middle of it. The cabin itself has a fabulous layout and tons of fun extras for the whole family. The pool location is top notch for those with kiddos. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We also loved that we could bring our furkid with us on our family vacay. The hosts were super helpful and responsive as well !

Comfortable! Convenient! Clean! (and Cute!)

This cabin is 3 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the strip, but removed enough to be a refuge from it. When we arrived, the place was, very obviously, clean, but did not wreak of the air freshener so redolent in many other, especially pet friendly, rentals. Extra points for that! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cookie sheets, coffee makers (even a Keurig) and a stovetop kettle. Having a (extra nice) Kroger down the road made it super easy to cook for ourselves rather than go out for most meals. The living spaces are quite cozy (loved the Groot mural 😊) and the king bed was amazingly comfortable. The hosts are very much on top of things and communications were practically instantaneous. Honestly, we couldn’t have been more impressed, and enjoyed our stay immensely.

This cabin's proximity to the main attractions makes it incredibly convenient. Our family adored its cozy atmosphere and the kids especially enjoyed the game room. Plus, the owner promptly resolved any issues we had. We hope to stay again in the future!

Cute Groot Cabin

This cabin was perfection for our family of 5. Spacious, clean, and fully furnished with everything we needed. The Groot play loft was such a cute little space for our kids. They felt like they had their own hang out.
