Perfect place for me.

Location within walking distance of Independence Hall, Ben Franklin’s grave, Liberty Bell, US Mint and many other Historic sites. Plenty of good restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner nearby. Sports complex within 10 miles.

The room was cozy, clean, and quiet. The bed, pillow, and linens were soft and very comfortable. The staff were friendly. The only negative about the hotel is the lack of dedicated parking lot. Since the private parking lot next door had no in and out privileges and closes at 10PM, we had to park and walk a couple of blocks way from the hotel to park our car at night.

I loved the simple beauty of Penn's View hotel. The rooms were understated and nice, and it was so easy to get to the historical sites we wanted to see. One area of improvement would be the blinds covering the windows...they were pretty pointless. They didn't keep out the lights from the adjacent hallway, nor were they great for privacy. Sleep was pretty tough, even wearing a sleeping mask didn't help.

Cool ass hotel

The staff were really helpful and really kind checking in was super simple the man at the front desk well spoken and kind to all. I really enjoyed my stay, especially with the room view. I hope to come back again the restaurant downstairs is also pretty damn good and they really are generous with the wine also the location of the hotel itself is really good in walking distance and each direction. There’s coffee shops, tourist stops, places to eat and drink a bus stop down the road and super simple for Uber to find location when I come back to Philly I plan on staying in the same spot. I don’t usually leave good reviews but man this place was great. Also the cleaning service the lady is super sweet thank you to all the staff members. I hope to visit again soon

The accomodations were fine but the facilities were dated, and the amenities were lacking. Small details that make impact were missing. Coffee quality was not good. Water was served in the lobby with shot glass size cups. Nothing egregious but nothing exceptional.
