Hotel Zócalo Central
1/5 Terrible
"I have stayed at this hotel before and had such a wonderful experience that I returned for a second stay and even recommended it to two friends. Unfortunately, this visit was a major disappointment. During check-in, we were moved twice and initially given a room with one bed instead of the two beds that were reserved. The front desk staff and management were extremely dismissive, unsympathetic, and unprofessional when addressing these issues. Rather than feeling welcomed, I felt disrespected and unheard throughout much of my stay. While the hotel offers complimentary food and drinks at the bar, my interactions with the bar staff were so unpredictable and uncomfortable that I chose to avoid the area altogether, aside from occasionally getting water. On a positive note, the location remains exceptional and is easily a 10/10. The valet staff were outstanding, and the restaurant team was consistently kind, helpful, and professional. Sadly, the level of customer service I experienced from the front desk and management was unacceptable and significantly impacted my stay. A hotel can have a beautiful property and excellent location, but hospitality is what truly defines the guest experience. Based on this visit, customer service was a 0/10."
