The rooms were spotless and very spacious, with a great location that’s super walkable. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, and the rooftop was absolutely amazing, definitely a highlight. The only minor downside was that the beds felt a bit small given the size of the room, but overall it was a fantastic stay!

Overall this was your average hotel, it had all of the necessary amenities and was clean. We liked having a kitchenette, although the stove was finicky. The reason for the low rating is because of HORRIBLE communication from the property. They sent a message same-day that they were going to be shutting off the water for maintenance from 11:00pm-4:00am. That message was sent on their internal messaging platform (which does not send notifications), despite communicating via WhatsApp for the past month. As a result, we had no notice whatsoever, and there were no signs posted or notes put on the door, etc. 10:00pm rolled around and we tried to use the shower (after a long day at Tolantongo), toilet, and fill up our water bottles. The water was already off 1 hour earlier than scheduled. We were unable to shower, wash our hands, or even flush the toilet. This led to an extremely uncomfortable stay as we had just returned from a day-long excursion. Despite being responsive when I messaged the property, they claimed there was nothing they could do. They denied responsibility and claimed that any partial refund decision would be Orbitz’s responsibility. Orbitz sent us back to the hotel, telling us that the property manager would need to make that decision. ULIV ruined a good part of our stay and did absolutely nothing to make it right. Don’t book here if you want basic plumbing on your vacation!

Confusing from the very beginning due to them sending a WhatsApp message telling me there would be only a security guard to let me in the property, and to have my ID ready. When I arrived, things were completely different. I stayed on a room in the 8th floor, and its like I was right next to loud traffic every single morning with no type of sound isolation at all even with all windows closed. Mattress was hard as a rock. Neither of the 2 TVs in the apartment had antennas nor were they setup for Google TV/casting, so they were absolutely useless. The "spa" never replied to my WhatsApp messages wanting to book an appointment. The shower gel and shampoo are diluted. No housekeeping for a 5 night stay, no trash pickup, no toilet paper deliveries, nothing. I wouldn't recomment this place at all.

Everything else is really good about the hotel itself. The area is great really good local restaurants and market. Need to improve the soundproofing of room that’s facing downtown area and needs to improve on the cleaning.

My stay at ULIV Mexico City was genuinely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, every staff member I encountered was polite, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. Whoever is in charge of hiring deserves serious credit—the team is outstanding. One of the highlights was spending time on the hotel’s terrace. I had a few drinks with friends, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They rearranged furniture to suit our group and even brought out blankets when the evening turned chilly. That kind of thoughtful service made our experience feel truly special. Beyond the hospitality, the practical amenities were spot-on. Parking was easy and convenient, which is a huge plus in CDMX. I also appreciated the abundance of washers and dryers—perfect for longer stays or anyone who likes to travel light. Overall, ULIV is a great place to stay: stylish, welcoming, and run by people who clearly care about the guest experience. Highly recommended.

The property is good with good service.. I had requested for early check in but, my room was not made available. I had wait for 5 hours till I could check in.. this was not a good experience. This was my first time in Mexico City, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. The location was perfect—everything I needed was within reach, and of course, places of interest are everywhere in CDMX. But what truly made this stay unforgettable were the people. From the moment I arrived, every single employee was kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The rooftop bartenders were especially fantastic, and the service across the board was consistently warm and professional. Not one interaction felt anything less than excellent. The property itself was stunning. My balcony offered incredible views that made every morning and evening feel magical. The atmosphere, the hospitality, and the overall vibe of this place made me fall in love with it. Management should be proud—this team is doing something special. I’ll absolutely be back.
