The area is run down and have a lot of construction. My refrigerator was so loud every hour it had clanking pipes or something woke me up every time. This was a Best Western bought out. Only one slow elevator. I would not stay again.

Very strange stay. Let me set the stage. One night, just the wife and I, travelling to a funeral. Checking in took forever as the young lady seemed to not know what she was doing and the young man who was there was on the phone kicked her off the computer halfway through her checking us in. Weird, but no big deal, right? We get to the room, and it seems like the hotel is older, but they are trying to upgrade. Kuddos to them for trying to upgrade. There is a dog hair in the sink, but we have slept in worse situations before (camping in the jungle). My wife starts feeling like she is coming down with a cold, so she goes to bed early. We didn't bring cold meds so I was going to call down to the front desk to see if they had any I could purchase but the phone didn't work at all. I tried unplugging from the wall and plugging back in, but I couldn't get it to work. So, I didn't get to bed until late (had to go out and get cold meds) and my wife is sleeping when I get back. I get my shower and pull back the sheet/blanket and to my surprise I see an ear plug. Guessing it was from the previous guest. Just GROSS. Again, the wife is already asleep and it's late. What can I do? So, I tossed the ear plug in the trash and went to bed. The carpet was also pretty gross, to be honest. And we heard dogs barking during the night. On top of that in the morning we heard someone's alarm going off over and over again. Very disappointing stay.
